I really hate standing around trying to buy and sell items as old-school is now, it hurts my eyes and wastes my time, it's the one thing stopping me playing the game tbh.

I'd love some kind of simple, user friendly, "Ge like" trading system.
I've never cared for making money from merchandising.
I don't want to spend ages researching an items street price.
I just want a simple system giving me a fair price for my wares.

I don't really care what it's called or where it's placed in-game, but I would love to have it and continue my old-school adventures.

you know i don't understand why people talk about G.E. is bad because of manipulation.


its being done without the G.E. you don't need the G.E. to manipulate the price of items.

there are allot of people doing it i don't appreciate them doing it butt they don't even have the G.E. and they are doing it.

all the G.E. did was make it easier to buy and sell stuff so the manipulation of prices just happened a little faster.

Very pro the concept, very against the name. Its not an auction house, its a grand exchange. Auction houses generally feature auctions, this is just normal trading. I would suggest, if Grand Exchange is not an option, Exchange Center, Item Exchange, Marketplace , etc;.

Would it be possible to have a system by which players added to your friends list from this system could be removed automatically if you trade with them and don't converse within a certain amount of time after?

I think this is a great idea. Maybe make it like this or make it like some kind of bulletin board where people put up the item they are selling, the quantity of the item and for how much they are selling it for. You would then have to contact them to buy it from them directly instead of buying it off the auction house.
