totems a bit odd idk about them strange make some new resource areas only accessible to people that have high artisan also d pick/axe probably going to drop in value so figure something out there also i think coal grinded up would burn faster then coal in big pieces also make some more valueable items to work towards like in slayer theres abbysaal whip etc make some more besides just for woodcutting/mining and if woodcutting/mining is definitely better then dragon axe/ dragon pick and if they can just be sold to anyone then less purpose for d pick / d axe so maybe make d pick / d axe a requirement to make the artisan skilling tools and make some more skilling tools to work towards too.

Absolutely no runecrafting boost. This would devalue the work of many players who put in countless hours to get 91 since the new double nats req would be 88. 91 runecrafting is a difficult goal in the most difficult skill that should NOT be messed with.

I don't think I saw any runecrafting experience boosts in the dev blog. Where did you see one?

Edit: Unless you're talking about the robes. I think they're neat! They take very high levels to make, as well.

To make the dragon equivalents, you have to use a Dragon Axe / Dragon Picaxe. If anything, it'll probably raise the values.

the gathering tasks themselves can get boring so make it somehow better to gather and more fun when using artisan skill also besides just rewards to look forward too especially funner somehow and more rewarding the gathering itself

Such an un-creative idea, why not add something new and interesting into the game, rather than these annoying extra random items that just fill up bank space.

The thing that really annoys me about this, is that out of hundreds of new skill idea entries you received you only showed us 5, out of which to be honest non that interested me. There has potential for the Jagex team to add something awesome to the game that is never before seen, that could run along with the ideas of a new continent and the new race of people.
I know there are lots of people that will say, "but they are adding something awesome to the game that is never before seen", but are they really? Sure, you have a new Tab on the skills list with 99 more levels to add to your total, and some fancy new drawings and items that make it all seem worth it, but what is honestly new about this skill. It is a task sytem end off. All of this could be put into the game through a skiller task system, in a much simpler format, using less time, and instead poll a newer, more creative skill, that everyone can back 100%.

You are putting so much time and effort into trying to fiddle about with this skill, this being the 3rd revision...It truly feels like you are trying to polish a turd. Why not spend the little time you have as a small team that run the game into developing creative, unique and interesting new content that will excite all players, not cause a rift between them.

I really do hope this doesn't pass, as I feel this would be the turning point for what had to the potential to be an awesome game.

Please Please Please add Artisan Tinderbox's and Logs that can cook food better!

Firemaking is such a useless skill and something like that would make it more useful. Would also give reasons to burn Yew, Magic, Redwood Logs other than higher exp for 99.

All logs require +15 Levels of their normal firemaking requirements.

Yew Logs would be the same as a cooking range.
Magic Logs would be +4% better.
Redwood Logs would be +8% better.

Keep in mind logs burn out so there is a huge cost to keep this method going. Make the fires take a considerable amount of time to produce depending on each log and slightly improved exp to compensate for extreme times.

E.g. if Magic Log normally gives 303.8 Firemaking Experience.

Then creating a charcoal Magic Log fire could give 911.4 experience, but takes 15 seconds to make. So ideally if you want exp/hour you would just burn magic logs, but if you are looking to create an efficient cooking fire there would be reason.

add some more to fishing the herbed fish people may not use to often tbh like the thing about being able to make artiasn picks/axes make it to where people can make like artisan harpoons faster chance of fishing ideas like this and if you get higher artisan yourself then items that only you can use to make it more of a value for people to raise themselves. make high level ones u can sell then make higher lvl one that boost more that only high lvl artisans can use or even varied lvls for all these and several other skills too. if their was a higher boosting one that whenever you got maxed artisan or just even higher artisan throughout skill then you could still make it and trade it but through experience from the artisan skill you have learned how to use it the best so it benefits you mostly and doesnt benefit others with lower artisan as much and maybe could benefit players with really high gathering skills more but still benefit people with higher artisan even more.
