ive been waiting for a new skill / slayer but for skillers but dont think this will work, it would be much easier to get tasks like mine 238 gold ore etc or make 107 addy platebodys this would have a big impact on the skilling for everybody + market.

but if we add new stuff etc i think it will be more and more like rs3. and not sure if this is true but do you get faster xp in like mining/fishing etc ? because thats just 2x xp like eoc. please dont do that

I really like this idea. It has a lot of potential to it, as well as fitting well with the style of old school. I've been following its changes and it reminds me greatly of the game I began with. If this was implemented I would probably play it. Having to start over is what has kept me from going to it. This however would provide direction and a fresh take to training skilling.

I love this concept, and I think it could really add to the skilling community. This was the skill I voted for personally, and it's about time we bring in more value to skilling! Perhaps this would be the time to implement items that give EXP bonuses similar to Stealing Creation rewards. Justifiable with the bonus EXP that other items provide such as the Farming outfit from Tithe. Even if they don't add bonus EXP, these items you can create to skill much more efficiently would be a fair reward.

Please, please, please do not let this idea just drift into the darkness, never to be seen again. I absolutely love old school, I've played RS since 2002 and I am a much bigger fan of osrs than rs3, however in old school we have been needing something to return more value to almost all of these skills because they have become practically useless besides for having quest and diary requirements... We need this terribly. Skills have become just useless money sinks for the most part and many of them are just so tedious to train via the options we have available.

This is the reason why I love slayer, it keeps things from getting too reapetitive and boring. This is something we've needed for way to long. I personally actually enjoy skulking more than combat personally, but as it stands currently, that portion of the community has been vastly ignored and pushed aside for the sake of the PVMers and PK community. It's as if skillets are just treated as unimportant and less important. A game who's only strength is the combat is a game that will die quickly and painfully. But when you have a thriving system for skilling as well, the game will thrive much more, the community will thrive, the economy will thrive, their will be so many options to choose from for once.

To be honest I never understood the reason for having different metal axes and pick axes but NOT for harpoons... Made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. This should have been added from the start. And different types of fishing poles and nets as well. I mean it only makes sense. Why leave out fishing from ALL OTHER SKILLS in this sense?
