I am all for this skill 100%. It adds content that gives players something to do, other than grinding a single skill, or simply grinding skills all day. It mixes things up, and creates a more fun way to skill, and rewards you for it as well. The idea is fantastic, and the way things are going are great as well. I for one would love to see this skill implemented.
For all the people who are complaining about 'their precious OSRS/2007Scape', I think you all need to step back and consider what is really going on. Oldschool Runescape is not just a port to a save file, created out of the demand for 'nostalgia'. Sure, the game is very nostalgic, and sure, a lot of old players (including myself) who have played from Classic, to Rs2, to current times, find a lot of nostalgia in playing. However, I'm not so closed minded that I can't accept (and approve and desire) updates to keep this game alive, and evolve it into something other a simple save file; I want it to be a game, developed by both the community and Jagex, to be something greater than what it was.
People hate Rs3 for various things, mostly the Evolution of Combat update, and I did too. I found it to be a 'lazy' way to attempt to catapult the game into a status the likes of World of Warcraft. I feel like it didn't add anything to the game. If anything, Legacy is a 'throwback' to how the game used to be; so if you want your content from 'back in the day', go play Legacy.
I can't stand how toxic this community is, whether it's out of passion or ignorance; I find it very disrespectful to Jagex, who is trying their best to keep up with the Osrs, to keep us entertained for our money. If you don't like the direction the game is going, stop playing, and move on with your life. The game, and most of us who are adult, and mature enough, to understand that change is a part of life, are going to continue to play and enjoy the hell out of this game, and all future updates.
Thank you, Jagex; and I hope that this poll passes.
