What about the EP system and targets? That was one of the great lures to the wilderness before because it encouraged people to fight all the time and there was a possibility of fantastic rewards by doing so.
Now, since people drop everything they have in the wild, the EP system could have adjusted rewards to make it a bit more reasonable, but all in all I think it would be great.
Now, for those of us who have no interest in high level wilderness, and instead find ourselves enjoying PVP worlds and edgeville PKing I think this is very important, especially when one of the concerns of PKing is the huge financial drain just from having a few fights and not even accounting for items lost on death. Many times fighting once or twice against an opponent results in a loss of supplies greater than the risk the opponent has to begin with - and whilst there isn't really anything wrong with this - and many people PK just for the sake of PKing and not for monetary gain, it would still be nice to be able to afford to PK for a longer time by having an increased chance for rewards for your hard work.
What is the draw from most anything you do in runescape? The rewards, whether they be XP or monetary or even for untradeable items. Now, if we can add more incentive and focus to PVP worlds (such as the EP and target system) then we can encourage people to PK more and enhance the experience all around.
This, as well as (I think) many of those possible updates mentioned in this post should be limited to a handful of worlds in order to focus where the players are PKing. I also believe they should be added to PVP worlds and not just regular ones where people typically go into the wild.
