The majority on this thread didnt at all want to limit worlds of the new wildy thats completely stupid. Most people are asking to remove the worlds not limit them. I may now just vote no to this because this would no longer be the rejuvination of the wilderness it would just repell me away that much more. People are asking to remove worlds not limit them. So many people have been asking for worlds to be removed why dont you just remove some already and be done with it. The communits dead the games dead, and im sick of seeing only 100 or less people in every world, and so is everyone else...... The problem that wont make the wilderness dead isnt the amount of worlds the wilderness is allowed to be on.. Its that theres to much worlds!!!! A playerbase can simply not grow if you dont allow to reduce worlds for a community to be crowded and full of people in a world, this is the reason so much things are dead but you wont ever listen, will you ever remove the worlds cuz this is getting just ridiculous. A small playerbase with no one in a world to talk to is what forces some people out of this game why play a game if you cant interact. You said this was the rejuvination of the wildy, well then make it that.

I mentioned this topic in one of my previous posts, however, I am restating it in order to get some more feedback. The 2007 player base was about 10X larger than the one we are currently dealing with. Having 78 worlds for a population that currently doesn't warrant their use is not only a waste of money for jagex, but it also presents a structural problem for the game. The 2007 population is simply spread out far too much. We often hear people complaining about the wild being empty... or even the worlds in general being empty (I am included in this population). Servers that can hold roughly 2000 players are only holding around 200 at a time ... (this is only 1/10 of the servers capacity). In order to correct such an issue I think the development team should seriously consider removing some of the worlds in order to concentrate the player base.

The benefits are twofold:

1) increases the instance of player to player interaction both inside and outside of the wild.

2) Limits resources for bots and gold farmers

My previous response which was similar in structure to this one received some support, but also some negative feedback. Most of the negative feedback came from those who said, "concentrating the population will only limit resources for legitimate players."

My response to those concerned with this issue would be as follows:

Bots do not react quicker than humans. A legitimate non-bot player 9/10 should be able to out click a bot. In essence concentrating the population will limit resources for bots.

What made 2007 such a special time was the community. Wether you enjoyed pking, skilling, pvming.... you name it.. the commonality that made all of these aspects special was the COMMUNITY. I hope you take the time to truly consider this suggestion. I am interested to hear your feedback.

I cant say or type it any better then this fello to be honest and changes do need to happen.

Teleport portals

Some of you think there should be some additional teleport portals added, so we will find some locations and poll that as a seperate question.

I'm not big on filling the wilderness with more large obstacles that interfere with pking. It would making running away too easy for skillers because they just run to the obelisks and teleport. I would be fine with adding teleports to the ancients spellbook. It is afterall the pker's spellbook*

Swag bag

A lot of you don't like the name of the swag bag, which is actually good news. We used that name as it describes exactly what it does which we felt is more important to explain the concept that it having a cool name. We'll happily change the name - the 'bag of holding' is something that has been suggested, what do you think?

Bag of holding sounds forced. I'm not good at item names tho.

Maybe more like 20. 10 sounds impossible for skillers to hide. I'd still prefer you simply remove some worlds all together*

Single way combat

It would be interesting to hear whether you think players should be able to attack another player in single way combat whether they are fighting a monster or not.

That sounds like a good idea in theory, but I think that if you start reducing the amounts of worlds for this content update, you're going to be messing with the rest of the game. Things like slayer mob spots will immediately be instantly be overcrowded. Dag Kings or GWD will instantly be won by larger groups who can overpower others, for example. We'd be trying to help this wildy update with a sacrifice to another element of gameplay. Not sure I'm on board with that.


Ya but the only thing you rly got wrong about your post is that this game is just simply to dead in each world to be overcrowded ridiculously with slayer pvm, gwd, dag kings. As there is only 100 ppl in each world it would simply not effect slayer on a large scale the game is by far to dead to ever be overcrowded even if they do remove half the worlds. Some people want half worlds some want a few worlds removed some only want ten and then some want 30 or 40 removed. Best bet is to remove 10 so it fills the other worlds at least a little more, making all groups of people happy or ok with it and not completely making things to crowded but they cant listen to the players at all so why should the community even bother ask for good change..

Benefits to skillers

This will mean the demand of these items will rise giving an opportunity for industious skillers to fill the market and make a killing (so to speak).

PvP armour and weapons

There is a lot of discussion surrounding revenants dropping PvP armour and weapons. Equally there is a lot of resistance to items such as Vesta's, Statius' and Zuriels's equipment. We don't have to use the same stats and can create something which is more suitable to your needs. So please let us know what stats would work for you.

Perhaps some items that can alter special attacks of weapons?

* Abyssal Whip Imbue
Option 1 - Binds the opponent in place for 5 seconds at 50% cost.
Option 2 - Increased accuracy for next hit by 50% at 50% cost.

* Dragon Hatchet Imbue
Option 1 - Increase your woodcutting level by 5 at 100% cost.

* Brine Sabre Imbue
Option 1 - Make it so you can use the special attack above ground.

* Enhanced Excalibur Imbue
* Boosts Defense by 15%, and heals for 20 seconds (total of 40 life points).

They would be some sort of tradeable item that when used on a whip or w/e is consumed and imbues the item!

Please remove some scorpions and skellies near the abyss to help pkers from getting pjed.

Revamp muddy chest.

Make it so if you make pizzas in the bandit camp the chef will note them for you.

Chaos druids at altar in wild have higher chance of high lvl herbs

Add an anvil near the hobgoblin mine so we can superheat and smith there.
