I will be voting no. The initial design that included gathering skills was better than this and I wouldn't have voted for that either. Slayer works so well because it's open ended, makes money and is diverse, with small perks here and there to help train it faster. Artisan tries to do too many things at once and exists purely as a money sink in its current form, on top of there only being one real way to complete the tasks.

I might vote yes if it gets heavily reworked in the time leading up to the poll, but as it stands I'll vote no and ponder over why people didn't pick forestry instead.

no offense to the creator of this skill, or to jagex, or to the players that let this pass... but i honestly dont like the idea of combining the task system of rs3 with divination and some oldschool stuff to create a new skill based of nothing and probably debalancing the pvp/pvm and skilling section of the game in such a way.

I'll be voting -- NO --

This skill is not very good, overall, and while it was the "best" of the 5 choices, none of the skills polled were any good.

If it's a choice between this skill and none, I choose NONE.

Osrs doesn't need this skill, and the amount of +damage items is rediculous.
Combat doesn't need anymore damage boosting stuff.
We already have more than enough.

Please, for the love of all things intelligent and wise, vote this madness down and put a rest to the idea that osrs needs more skills.

On June 18, do the right thing and vote...

--- NO ---

I Honestly like the idea.

I think that if you add a point system, and instead of crafting specific things, you will have a set amount of xp in that skill you have to get. So it will tell you "gain (amount of xp) in this skill" This way it will give people there freedom to train that skill however they want to.

But I think its still a good idea, ill definitely be voting YES. :)

WOW JAGEX! i REALLY AM IMPRESSED!
All you basically did was enhance the crafting skill.
You could have just made a minigame like stealing creation which would do exactly the same thing!

So again to you I say I AM IMPRESSED, SO VERY IMPRESSED THAT YOU NEVER FAIL TO LET US DOWN (:

I don't see the sense in why you "furthered" the skills based content before even allowing a "no" option in the polls. Possibly in hopes for better feedback after the mass of rejection towards this skill being released at all; based off our prior understanding to it.

On the 18th I hope there is a LEGITIMATE "no" option; but seeing how you already put this much time and effort to explain the skill more.... I imagine it will be rigged and artisan will be released no matter what.
