Dear Jagex,
No.
Let me explain my short answer:
I started playing RuneScape in 2004, and kept playing until 2010... why did I stop at that time? because I was trying to give RS3 a chance!
Now that oldschool is back, you guys go strong with your well known "we listen to players" where vast majority of players are agaisnt your choices of letting unbalanced and innapropriate ideas get in the game.
Remind me, when was it we were asked if we could choose to stay in RS oldschool or go in RS3? When was it you asked us players about infinite shop stocks? When was it you implemented summonning when everyone thought it was necromancy? (with evidence) Why make dungeoneering a skill? What is divination doing in RS? Why is construction a skill?
On a good note, I admire your courage of fighting the bot industry head on.
A little more concern about wilderness removal would have been appreciated. Considering it was the foundation of the community... You guys had it ruff! How to please real players and deal with those that pay to win? I honestly don't have an answer if not to do what you guys are doing in RS3 (double xp weekends and monsters that drop lots of loot) but then... you break the gameplay.
My opinion is that there should be a RuneScape 2.1 and 3.1, where XP is incredibly fast rate and where the whole game is rebalanced (implement more roleplay elements, tweak existing content to make them orchestred (remove theiving and put it under agility), add character building (evil/neutral/good)
A conversation on skype could be interesting.

Artisan is all about saying that the actual skills don't give enough. Before you fix the skills, make a new version of RS and don't touch the oldschool. Thx!

Note: I haven't played much 'cause it's kind of not the same when all your real life friends are gone, and where RS3 is a beautiful version of an unbalanced game. (too vast gameplay experiance - players shouldn't always be the one choosing what is important)
