Good concept bad rewards:
not liking the idols or making superior items.
thought this was for skillers not pkers.
Need to add gathering skills like:
woodcutting, mining, fishing and add xp for gathering flax to this skill
Should also add new content that is just skill related xp.
Clothen making for skills a good idea but it should also add xp to this skill.
i also believe cotten should be higher lvl than flax. cotten (harder to get) flax (can get 1k in my sleep)
as it sits now i would have to vote no

Given how rigged the original poll was (artisan being the first in an enormous thread that I doubt anyone read in its entirety). I for one think that this skill will just cause more of an annoyance than anything else.

Essentially, we will be forced to train skills via potentially slow exp/very expensive methods, just to train another skill. You can't add rewards that make this worthwhile because it would 'unbalance the game' and would set us on track to RS3. This just seems like a massive waste of time, a skill that would only be worth training by those going for the number 1 spot on the hiscores.

I approve almost every update put forward, they're usually really well thought through. I know full well that this will just add a very large aspect to the game that I can't stand but feel obliged to train. I will be voting no as soon as I see the poll and may even give you more money just to say no multiple times.

With the update of this skill honestly, Not many people would agree with this but maybe add in some items that were useful in pre-EOC, Items like the inferno Adaze, Even bring a new concept to the item in general. It was useful for me and many other Noob's that liked to train two skills at once.

I am 50/50 on my decision. Yes, it would boost prices, yes it could help pvm.
However, new bosses would need to be added eventually, current bosses would become too easy which could lead to crashing boss items...
Another thing I disagree with, the runecrafting benefits. Back in pre-rs3 when Jagex made the update so that each essence would have a chance of doubling, it devalued runecrafting levels, at least for me. It wasn't about the prices, I didn't care too much about that, but it gave you nothing to do the grinding to 91 for example.

I am leaning more towards yes on my vote, but the skill does need work. Hopefully it changes for the better, otherwise it will not pass because thus far I've only read no after no on this thread. Which is unfortunate because it could be a good skill with work.

i don't want to see a new skill i think its just to much to take and it sounds like crafting. One thing i would love to see is what most players like me had to do go from a maxed character in rs3 to a new nothing account on oldschool i think there should be a like a trade in your rs3 for some exp like when they gave away all that exp a year or two back.

the rewards are so dumb
gwd is already too easy ---> lets release more damage bonus items and better food
where the hell is the logic...
i'll vote no not because of the skill but the rewards are ****

ruininig comat with a non combat skill - gj not even the eoc mods managed to do this until divination
1. German Trimmed Comp Cape Pre EOC
1. German Maxed OSRS Account

I think this is actually a great way to add a new skill to the game.... me personally i love the idea of artisan i don't understand why people are disliking the idea so much, i think that what they have come up with so far it's great, i love the idea of (s) items, i really like that they can be traded among players, it adds more content and more things that actually help the growth of other skills, i really like it you guys are doing an amazing job, i can't wait for it to come out because i'll be one to try to make this skill one of my first 99s. I believe the reason why players aren't giving you guys a feed back as to why they wouldn't want the skill in the game is because they simply just don't want another skill in game now. This skill will add more excitement to other skills, i personally don't practice every skill but with this content and the way things are looking SO far i would be willing to start doing them all.... I did wanted to point out.. you guys are stating there will be new clothing and such.. One thing that i wouldn't want to change in OSRS is the way it looks, there is new armor coming out but i think the game should keep the graphics and the design that has at the moment.. People play OSRS because they love the way it looks, it works and the way it flows... That's what sincerely got me to start playing Runescape again, please just keep the graphic and the new content with the way it looks right now, once again the skill looks and sound great, don't add things that are off the walls.
