How do you guys feel about how a higher level firemaking effect combat and pvp? Do you think the effigies should require people to train a firemaking/skill, or should you just need the artisan level to able to use it? 5/21/2017 The day I claimed ownership of the Old School Content Suggestions.

You havent given a reason to remove PvP worlds you simply said not many people remove wel* im sure theres alot of people who quite like PvP worlds(Myself included) and i know personally that i hated BH though we could see a poll or two to see if we could open up a couple f2p worlds maybe

@Too Shredded Tip for the future please dont go around suggesting to remove and replace content people like for such flimsy reasons without weighing other options.

I fear that some of these changes take away from the skills they are intending to augment. Runecrafting is a good example. The skill already allows runes to give multiples if you have the level for it with the exception of law and death runes. Would the doubling effect be used on the multiple amounts of runes produced ie. 4 nature runes instead of 2 per 1 essence used?

I really like the concept of this skill, but i have a couple of problems with it.
First up. The skills used to train Artisan should be primarily ressource skills, because it would be impossible to get some of the already scarce ressources, should everybody want to level Artisan AND the skill which the ressource was originally used to level.

Secondly: The exp. You level up Artisan by completing different tasks. The exp equals a part of the exp aquired by doing the task, and following that logic; who would want to complete a Runecrafting task? The exp would be extremly bad comparing it to something like maybe Herblore or Construction, heck even Woodcutting will be far superior.
I dont know quite how to solve this problem, but i'm thinking some sort of reward exp aquired after the completion of the task, reflecting the amount of work needed to complete the task.

The rewards don't quite match what i had in mind. I know it was a skill to help skillers make some cash, but i believe that we should get some areas only accessible with a high Artisan lvl or possible some new materials. The superior food isn't a bad idea, but the arrows would absolutely destroy pking.

Well.. that was just about what i had to contribute to the discussion with. I do support the idea of a skillers Slayer, but i find it very poorly implemented, so i hope Jagex will listen to its players, so we can make the best possible out of this intruiging skill.

Buff the food (s) bonuses to make them worthwhile. Also, unless you feel as though range is underpowered in general, the arrow damage buffs should be removed. I do really like the whole idea though and I believe it will revitalize skilling.

BEFORE DOING A FINAL VOTE!

do a vote for individual components of the skill such as:
-What skills are used
-How players can block skills
-How many skills a player can black
-Experience Ration- 1/1 1/4?
-Combat Totem Rewards and their power
-% chance of getting superior
-Are the tools tradable?

That's just a few that quickly come to mind

I really want this to pass but we need to win over a big majority if that's to happen.
Slayer, based on polls I've seen, is the most popular and liked skill in the game. Why shouldn't this compete with it.

A new skill should be exciting and offer something unique and fun to train! Sadly this skill and the other four skills in the poll seemed blah/pointless/boring. Maybe we need to poll some more skill choices, because if I remember correctly you guys said that you received 400+ skill ideas. And when polling more skill choices also add the option "None of the above" because otherwise the percentages might be misleading. I find it hard to believe that the five options that you last polled were the best ideas out there.
