Give us a reason why we still would do regular fight caves instead of inferno. People will focus on inferno because it's cape has better stats. I don't see a reason why make 2 fight caves..Replace the old one or let it rest.. I Like new content but it has to be good and not to much at once.

Question: Should a new best-in-slot melee cape be given as a reward for defeating TzKal-Zuk

so if one fails and the other passes what will you do? you should of discussed possible solutions later down the line.



We need to know what you think is preferable out of the two options
: push to get The Inferno out in mid-February with tweaked assets and, overall, a lower standard for visuals or push The Inferno back to next January to come with Zeah batch 3, filling the open time in our schedule with massive amounts of quality of life jobs.

This decision comes down to what the community wants most. Please let us know your thoughts on the matter - we want to know what you think.

also take in account of how much the community wants to see new content and what even they will think about their decision later on thinking of how much cooler and how much it could of offered later down the line even if they say they want it now.i would think push it in mid-febuary just for more content and it should look fairly cool anyways but i'd say just push it off actually because i'd rather the community not shun jagex for lack of ideas/graphics and the content deliver the best it can be even if its later on.

why does the new cape give no prayer bonus?

I'm liking some of the general ideas here, although there is absolutely no rush and I think it would fit even better in Tassakal (potentially could have some slayer related things there too because of the old dev blog mentioned that)
I'm secretly relieved that Jad2 didn't pass becaue this sounds a lot better.

(also try not to keen out too much on quality of life updates)

If the content will suffer, definitely wait it out. I'd rather have completed new content, plus being able to mix it in with the Tassakal will enrich Zeah.

Disappointed to see the lack of range and mage cape from this.

Must the Inferno consume a fire cape? (fight caves is rather long, all that work just to destroy a cape is disappointing)

Can it not include a upgraded fire cape as a reward?

Mele seems to be over powered, so I suggest making it give only a range/magic version of the firecape.

Instead of Jad 2 it could be Jad 2 and 3 but there could be options for which one you want to fight while doing the fight caves.

Please do not make jad 2 give onyx's as a reward.

Don't push it on the cost of quality. End-game content such as this should be a truly great experience. Also, bring it to Zeah. The new continent really needs plenty of good content to come with it.

Also, make sure to introduce BiS mage/ranged capes somehow. And maybe you should make the strength bonus for melee cape +6 or something, I feel that 8+ might turn out a bit to overpowered.

EDIT: Also, as JENNETTE said above me, no onyx gem rewards please.

regarding the appearance on the cape i think its to much, maybe removing the details in the middle and leaving the bottom piece on still setting it apart from the fire cape.

Also maybe instead of having a whole new cape in general, let the new boss drop a new helm slot like a hood would be sick (mage hood, melle hood, range hood) or gloves perhaps?

The design and colour look too different from osrs style. I don't know how it will look once equipped with OSRS gear. We shall see.

There's way too many pages already so hoping someone answers:

What will happen to the mage and ranged capes? Are they completly gone?

Are the new caves going to be challeging enough that we won't see level 25 and other low level players easly getting it? I myself haven't tried the current caves on this account yet, probably soon, but I will get the fire cape first because I'm expecting thee new cape to be a lot harder and requiring higher stats/gear/strategy than the current caves.

I mean it would defeat the purpose of the "new challenge" and achievment if you could just skip fire cape because the next BiS cape is a just a "little" bit difficult.
