Glad you decided to change it to a separate cave. As for trying to push it out in a few short weeks I think would not do the update any justice and it would definitely seem to fit the 3rd batch of zeah. Maybe even include it there rather than down in the tzhaar area? I would say to wait on the update and make it the best it can be and work on the QoL updates throughout the next few weeks.

What he said.

Wrong... 13k/50k people said no... 37k/50k said yes and the fact they are taking away the mage and range cape should be a crime... it's what made the whole thing so appealing... we don't need more melee items we need range and mage items.

I vote for pushing the inferno out for mid-February.

I would also like to know what happened to the idea of mage and range best in slot capes?
If a best in range slot becomes a possible drop I would like to recommend instead of it being a cape make some kind of quiver with a sling that you put on your back.

I don't understand why people just want rehashed content from a previous build.

I love the ideas of new content, and a "jad2" is sounds great. Adding it to the end of actual Jad? That's just plain laziness, glad that vote didn't get through.

Creating a new cave??? Right beside the original? Why? For what reason? Who asked for another kiln. Kiln had a mid feb release, you want this for a mid feb release. What am I in 2012?

I would love a "jad2". I would love another enticing fight with a challenging boss that gives you that sense of accomplishment. And some epic reward immediately after.

But we already have a fight kiln.
and a tokhaar-kal.
on runescape 3.
Fine, rehash the fight kiln, but maybe add it to Zeah, and stick to maybe 2 extra "jads". One for a top tier range cape, and another for a top tier mage cape. That would follow the statistics of the current melee fire cape.

You brought Zeah, give us more Zeah. and by that I mean incorporate these great ideas into Zeah. Like what happened with Raids? 10 man feats for us to overcome. Perfect spot for new gear, like the capes.

Bring on "jad2". but not kiln.
Give me new capes, not a new and improved tokhaar-kal.

I love the idea of bringing new bosses that will challenge people like "jad".
I would just love some more content and less rehashing.
Old player. New account.

Take your time, push the release to next year. I think we need those QoL updates more than anything else right now, and setting aside a few weeks to do nothing but those will really help to make the game as it exists now more enjoyable. In addition, I don't want any part of the inferno to be rushed. Make a bunch of new graphical assets, make some new sound tracks. It all adds to the experience.

As for the rewards, I really think that moving to just the single cape was a great idea. I'm all for introducing new BiS mage/range capes, but I think that they should come from somewhere else. I personally would want a new boss (unrelated to the Fight Caves/Inferno) for each, but of course, you only have so much dev time.

As for those who are of the opinion that the Inferno will be a rehash of kiln, I think that is the wrong way to go about thinking of it. Kiln does exist, but not in this game. It was a previous update, in a completely different game . The new cape isn't a revamped tokhaar-kal, it's a new cape entirely, an upgraded version of the existing fire cape which is the BiS melee cape in this game. The inferno will not be exactly like kiln, because RS3 plays much differently than OSRS. Certainly there will be some similarity, but not because inferno is made like the kiln. It will be because they are both made like the fight cave.

EDIT: Oh, and feel free to throw some prayer on that cape! Not sure if you accidentally left it off or you actually didn't want it on the cape.
