The rest i do not see any usefulness from though. Magic one seems useless. Construction is useless. Hitpoints could be useful in some ways. Herblore seems pointless. Thieving the jury is still out. Crafting pointless as who actually uses the guild any more? And what good is teleporting there when you need a brown apron to enter? Fletching does not even reflect the skill imho. Hunter almost no one bothers with chins because of botters and pkers. Mining again another pointless one. Why? You can mine Runite but instead get buffed on adamant? Makes no sense.

Smithing the only reason most use goldsmith gloves is to level smithing. What is the usefulness of using them past 99? Max exp? Useless.

You are missing out on one thing - these are perks, not game changing OP rewards, the magic and construction ones have niche uses, so does hitpoints - crafting is one of the most powerful perks because there's a bank in the crafting guild and if you're wearing a crafting cape you don't need the apron.

Everyone who is properly training hunter (especially for xp past 99) does chins, be it blacks or reds in the diary cave. Mining is also a very *P one because granite xp rates could go upto 80-85k xp/h at granite.

Smithing is fairly useless because if you used goldsmiths gloves you would get a graceful cape, if you wear a smithing cape you can now wear graceful gloves - but they reduce less weight than the cape so they aren't even worth wearing, so it should be a random chance to save bars when smithing things, for example from 1/3 chance when smithing bronze to 1/50 when smithing rune (considering smithing rune is already profit, any bars saved are just a bonus).

It is called an opinion. Deal with it.

Skillcape perks sound so boring and unimaginative - the character is supposed to pull all those items from their capes??

Adding even one teleport to this game is too much at this point. There are way too many teleports and minigame teleports were the worst of all. Teleport should be a reward and if skillcapes (for some weird reason) were able to teleport then you should consider removing minigame teleports and some of the jewellery teleports.

Runecrafting perk actually sounds nice, you can enter all altars.

Hitpoints perk also makes sense but why does it not stack with Rapid restore?? Is rapid restore too used prayer? Hardly anyone uses it and it's way underpowered compared to protect prayers and others... The perk could just as well stack with the rapid restore.

All perks that offer daily things should not be added. We don't need any more daily tasks. If the perk was too powerful without day limit then don't add it at all or use some imagination to make a better one. Feels just so cheap game design, really.

Mining perk... Also unnecessary and unimaginative. Finding new better gems including onyx and even better ones would make more sense after all that mining. Also if you keep this mining perk, for god's sake, include runites too. There's nothing you can do to crash runite prices. Runite mining is not good nor efficient moneymaking, it's a slap in the face for miners and it's probably faster to just PvM to receive rune items than it is to mine and smith them. There is nothing overpowered in runite mining even if Varrock armour and this were to include runites.

Cooking perk makes a lot of sense and it sounds very good.

In conclusion it would be much better if you focused on improving old content (like any of the dozens of mining sites or quest areas and quest story lines) than it is to waste two minutes making (most of) these perks.

Just make max cape the best cape in the game like it should and release 200m skillcape trims. -.-

Response to other stuff:

Fishing Zulrah scales: this sounds awesome. fishing rod and bait havn't had the kind of use they deserved and this sounds good for skilling.

Monster examine: this will be very useful information.

Full colored rocks: I've not decided on this one. On the other hand there are both versions in the game right now and more variety is better. In some sense the fully colored rocks are easier to mine so they kind of make the mine better.... But the problem here is that mining sites are very unbalanced and in P2P almost every mining site is useless.

Kalphite queen spawn reduction: I hate this question. There are double the amount of servers that would be optimal for this amount of players... And there are more bosses and dungeons than ever before. This seems just ridiculous. Cerberos spawn is way too quick and PvM is way too easy... It's like you're trying to build PvM factory! Most people like these updates but then again most people don't know what's best for them or for the game. Players become spoiled and this is just one manifestation of it. The sad thing is that they will quit once spoiled enough.

Disk of returning area: this sounds great. Just one of the cool stuff that used to be in this game but isn't anymore...

Keys' examine texts: I think this is unnecessary. Better hints would be cool but straightaway spoilers are pretty dumb IMO.

Elidinis statue: this sounds great. Also you should just remove Clan Wars recovery. There is a good bank right there and people have food and potions in bank.

Some cool quality of life updates however I really don't think the skill cape perk update is ready to be polled, so many of those perks are naff and some are outright terrible.
For example the herblore cape. Personally i like the idea of having the chance of cleaning multiple herbs in your inventory with 1 click or having the chance of creating potions with 4 doses instead of 3.
RIP Forums :(
Finally we have signatures in the surprise forum update. I'm Lewis, I play Old School & I've been playing since 2005.

Apparently you can't deal with it because you can't refute getting BTFO'd LOL

So anyway if the zulrah fishing fails, which it might because pvmers will take it as a personal theft from their banks and moneymaking methods (god forbid it happens the other way around with the OP boss skilling-resource drop tables) I still think a good way to balance Zulrah would be to make the boat-ride to Zulrah take time. During this time you would have to defeat a certain amount of minions to trigger reaching the boss. These minions would drop scales. So Zulrah is nerfed in kill-rate, scales are compensated to have a larger amount get in the game and therefor a better price.

Okay This post will be in regards to skillcape perks, some are perfect and well made, many of the ones u posted are just damn silly

They've got to be more motivating to continue to train past 99. to 200m xp

Fletching -> Mith grapple + crossbow 3 times/day? really? That is damn silly, a better idea would be stringing bows, chance of using 1 bow string on 2 bow (u)'s (5% or whatnot)

Herblore -> Nardah's Decant, Completely silly, harder to get than the desert hard diary yet its the same reward. Should've been chance to make a 4 dose pot. (5% or whatnot)

Theiving -> 10% chance of pickpocketing, again whats the point of ardougne cloak? Should've been something like, chance of pickpocketing 2x loot on guards

Runecrafting -> Cape = All tiaras, Should've been something more motivating such as chance to Teleport to any altar/day?

Firemaking -> lightsource, yeah i'll stick to doing Kandarin easy diary, much easier and its a lightsource. Should be something like chance to light 2 logs at a time?

Defence -> Act as a permanent Ring of Life. Meh could be better, who even uses a ring of life and finds it useful these days? I cant really think of anything better though.

Prayer-> Act as if you are carrying a holy wrench (this does not stack with the holy wrench).
- Half and half suppose this.

Agility-> Acts as a graceful cape - Could be better, but again i cant think of a better option atm

Smithing -> Acts as goldsmithing gauntlets,
- no this is just stupid. Whats the actual point of this? If players were gold smelting via blast furnace they would not use cape due to weight. I cant see this being used anywhere unless fashionscape bankstanders superheating gold ores.
Since you didnt bother adding varrock armour's ability to have a chance to smith 2 bars/items same time such as it was pre-eoc, You could bother doing that for this...

Thank you for the mining rocks! Could you also possibly see about changing some of the NPCs to some of their 2004 models as well? Such as Dragons, demons, Ozia**, goblins, etc.

Not hiding it - if the game went backwards like that I'd proceed to vomit, then quit.

I don't understand the demand to put the rocks back to old graphics. They're ugly and don't reflect what progress was made on OSRS since it came into being! I guess it's a pure nostalgia thing? But I don't care about nostalgia, I care about playing a different way than I did in what is now RS3; graphics will not change gameplay at all. Sorry, but voting a hearty "no" to this one.

I like the idea of skillcape perks, if only for the cooking and crafting ones...some of the others, as many have said, seem vastly underpowered. So I'll vote "yes", but right now I don't expect it to pass.

The only other thing I want to mention is that the level for fishing for swamp eels seems fine, but the cooking one seems a tad low...if I had the fishing levels right now and the update were released today, I could make a small fortune from Zulrah scales. But that's just me.

Everything else seems fine I guess. Still hyped for skilling pets this month!
Oh, I almost forgot.
Oh, I already forgot.
