Smithing and Cooking seem pretty weak, since obtaining the gauntlets aren't hard at all. Maybe Smithing one could act as a hammer and Cooking cape could provide the Lumbridge range benefits at any range? Although I guess those are pretty weak ideas as well.

So what about the Quest and Achievement capes?

Those capes are on par or much more difficult to obtain than a 99 respectively.

Someone who has put in the time to acquire those skillcapes should have a benefit as well.

The quest cape could have the ability to act as a number of quest reward items when operated, possibly with a cooldown to avoid gaining multiple benefits in a short time. I'm thinking elf teleport crystal, ring of charos (a), camulet, enchanted lyre, ect.

The Achievement Cape is more difficult to create a benefit for because the player already owns a set of armor with several benefits. Therefore, maybe it could be toggled to act as one of these armor pieces when worn.

Agility Cape:
The graceful cape idea is great but should it really compare to achieving 99 in Agility? The Agility cape should reduce your weight a little more than the graceful cape for the devotion to the skill and no one can compare it to just a copy of the graceful cape.

Not sure if this has been answered. However, assuming you have a hh task, and you persuade to get them again, and you wait 24 hours to finish the task. Would you be able to get them a 3rd time, or would you need to wait 24 hour + a new task?

Warrior's guild teleport on the Attack/Strength cape would be a new teleport. So we think it'd have some use if the player ever needs to get a new defender for example. Definitely feel free to suggest something else though.

The games necklace teleport to burthorpe takes you pretty much right outside the warriors guild now (that may be a diary perk however). So the teleport seems kind of a waste for a 99 skill cape :\

My ideas for some capes:
Agility: faster, passive, run energy regeneration, maybe not as fast as a stamina potion, but faster than default.

Herblore: X% chance to create a 4 dose potion instead of a 3 dose.

Hunter: Traps don't need to be set back up if a creature fails to get caught.

Smithing: Very small chance to not consume a bar on creation (only applies to items that need 2 - 5 bars to be smithed).

Farming: Herbs you plant while wearing the cape won't get diseased.

Woodcutting: Higher birds nest yield and/or birds nests will last longer on the ground for you while wearing the cape.

Fishing: X% chance on getting 2 fish instead of 1.

Thieving: Maybe a slightly better % over the diary reward (like 15 - 20%) or; any pickpocketing requiring level 50 or lower won't fail

Runecrafting: Chance of getting 2 - 3 law / death / (any higher runes that get added to runecrafting) while wearing the cape (no xp for the bonus runes)

Magic: 1 spellbook swap per day (meaning switching to / from ancients / lunar) and must be in a town / bank to do this.

Cooking: chance at getting a 'perfect' cooked item, heals X more when wearing the cooking cape.

Smithing cape:
Gives a X% chance (e.g. 5%) to conserve a bar when smithing. For example, using 4 bars to make a platebody instead of 5.

Herblore cape:
Acts as a (4) dose super restore potion once a day.

Woodcutting cape:
Gives a slight increased chance of birdnest drops.

EDIT: wel*, just noticed my ideas were similar to the previous post.. Sorry about that, I didn't copy em to try to take credit.

Suggestion for Strength and Attack Skillcapes

Normally when you drink a (super) attack and strength potion every minute it will go down a level.

I suggest that when you wear the capes you won't lose a level every minutes but you will lose them all at once*

**- At 99 str when you drink a super str potion your level will increase to 118. You will lose a level each minute (not sure exactly how often you lose and can't test cause not 99 str).

While wearing the skillcapes you will still be 118 str for 19 minutes and then suddenly return to 99.

Defense - Ring of life effect should have option to disable OR The first hit from every monster, wearing the skillcape you will take Zero damage - saw this suggested on page 1 and quite like it

Magic - Be able to change your spellbook, once a day

Runecrafting - Creatures in Abyss do not attack you OR A certain amount of teleports to a runecrafting altar of your choice a day

Herblore - When making potions you have a very small chance of them made straight into 4 dose potions

Flecthing - Slighty faster flecthing, maybe just for a certain amount of time a day

Slayer - Choose your slayer task once a day OR slightly increased slayer points per task completed OR act as slayer helm

Hunter - Teleport to popular hunting locations

Farming - Cape can be used as supercompost once a day OR lower bonus from 5% to 2.5%

Woodcutting - Small chance of double logs when cutting OR increased birds nest when tree cutting

EDIT: Cooking: chance at getting a 'perfect' cooked item, heals X more when wearing the cooking cape - I like this but make the item untradable

Max Cape - Should definetly have all perks simultaneously
