Well perhaps you ought to read the blog again, considering that it's said there that even pures and levels 3 can do the skill

I stopped playing rs3 when EOC was released, didn't like the gamefeel, and OSRS is completely different. New content is necessary to keep the game alive, I'm happy with the new things coming into the game. This is definitely not a "new" rs3/EOC, so please don't tell those in favour to go "back" to rs3, hehe. That's not how oldies are at all... *checks age again and sees she's probably among the oldies as well".

The issue is the community can't stand changes unless it involves PvM based updates which honestly offends me quite alot.. we (the players who enjoy skilling) of RuneScape want updates that involve us too...and this is actually the best thing to come out of polls since release.. if Nightmare Zone can pass the polls I got faith in this update passing with flying

Edited: I wanted to just add this to say.. these are only my opinions but I do honestly believe we need Sailing for the next generation of RuneScape players...we need new content and locations to explore without a mass of groups being at them.
And I will say if you are "excited for new content" ect then go back to rs3 or admit you want this to become rs4. EASY. Because I would be happy with oldschool remaining that way until I die, that's how old people are.
