is this serious.. you're quitting due to a poll that you're scared might pass? Common man think about it Jagex are just giving us what we want I personally think they limit themselves making players vote for it so I think it should be released either way but I respect they give us our opinions however.. this game will continue updating Zeah already passed the polls and thats the biggest update in history.. in my opinion it's even bigger than EoC was. Look on forums at new content coming and you will see that excuse of voting no because you don't want updates is pointless because no matter what happens Zeah is 100% coming next year so allowing new content and new places to explore is a good update in alot of our opinions.
The game isn't about if you played since RSC or whatever, the games about having fun if the game doesn't update it'll have issues with keeping players happy and will lose players in the long run ..they're aiming to bring content for the new generation and bring more players into our community.
This game will continue updating reguardless of if Sailing even passes I personally hope it does because it was an improved idea after the Artisan skill didn't pass the polls twice.

Maybe you'll like sailing more than you like hunter? Jagex wont FORCE you to train the sailing skill! Did they force you to train hunter? Dont think so because you're still lvl 1 in that skill. You chose not to train it. Can do the same with sailing right?

Not sure how you mean that, "you can't" - but everybody
can
train the skill, and everybody can choose
not
to train the skill, at least that's how I've read it. You don't have to have done anything else before, and it's not obligatory for the rest of the game - although it will be tied in; just like a lot of other skills are tied up with each other.
