why continue to push a skill 80% of the community DOES NOT want. waste your time if you want to jagex, no worries here... just waiting for this poll to fail miseribly.
Training the Sailing skill is quite boring as it seems more construction-like skill and even the exploration ideas that you pulled off are not that great and I dont think its type of skill you wana get it to 99 because its fun but looks the opposite way.
The thing is alot of people dont know how this skill will affect the game, dont just look whats close to you but you need to look far ahead, because even if this skill passes with 75%+ votes
I'am sure quite people will quit the game too.
For example you got:
1. people who voted yes may quit aswell as they didnt get what they expected.
2. people who voted no and they quit afterwards thinking that old school will stay on the wrong path of updates.
This skill will definitely changes oldschool to another level so they need to be really careful what they are saying instead of mod ronan throwing out words in dev blog.

Well done Jagex! I think sailing has a lot of potential, but a major concern I have is with teleportation: will sailing devalue teleports? One of the most egregious mistakes RS3 made was the introduction of load stones because now my 99 magic, all the special teleportation items I've earned, and all the quests I've done are useless if anyone can teleport anywhere. I'm afraid there's no longer going to be a need to use the rum from Trouble Brewing to teleport to Mos Le'Harmless or teleport to Camelot when you can just sail to Catherby. Please find a way to keep my magic and teleportation items useful after the launch of the sailing skill.

Teleporting will stay way more convenient than sailing. You can only sail from a port for starters. Teleporting is instant while sailing takes time. You might as well be saying how agility and energy pots to get from city to city devalues teleports.
Boats are made by planks and bars, so i guess its very expensive money loss? Or can you sell them for more to get profit?
I dont really support a skill that cost alot money, if u train construction with bars and plank objects it will cost like 200mill for 99, i dont like something like that for a new skill.
