Lol first everyone asks for sailing instead of artician skill, and now everybody is like "nooo we don't need a new skill." Come on, this looks incredibily cool, it makes for a lot of new opportunities, the team seems hyped for this.
Don't go screaming for new content if you're going to decline all their offers.

lol they don't want new content because they think this is 2007 RuneScape, it isn't! it's Old School theres a huge difference.. the games also not going to stay "Old School" the teams attempting to start off where Pre EoC messed up and improve it so far they have only done 1 bad update which was nightmare zone (in my opinion).

The issue is everybody hates change in our community which is ruining it for everybody else.. I hope Jagex think twice and decide to release it without a poll due to the fact people aren't even reading the first post they'll just going crazy over the idea of this.

my god the old school community has its head up its butt.. Players for years have been asking for sailing constantly and as soon as its mentioned as a possible update for you guys before rs3 you guys lose it and freak out.

You guys need to consider that old school is not just about Pvp only.. I feel terrible about the skillers on your servers that really want this update and because of the toxic pvp community hating on it for no reason it will most likely not happen for them.

no just ******* no! we do not want a new skill that is sailing we play old school for a reason you dumb ass people. if you adding a new skill then why not summoning or add somthing like stealing creations that every one likes and wants back in 07! stop add crap in the game and start updating things in the game that need fixing! like how can slayer master give me wall beast as a task are you joking! and why the hell not do at least do double exp for one weekend in the year for 07!

with that set of mind you shouldn't have any updates. its 07 for a reason so no ge no, god wars, ect.

your argument is just idiotic.

I honestly think it should be a poll within' Jagex studio's instead of giving the community an opinion haha no offense guy's but Jagex clearly think on every bit of the details and what it can bring to the game.. the communitys just going to go agenst it no matter what and won't even look at what this brings to the game itself.

If you give the community an opinion on this please ~

can we get given a beta server (like you did with tournement world) to let us try the skill out before hand so the players can see what this actually gives to us instead of crying over it like they have any idea what they're on about

Wholeheartedly support this. New content is needed to drive the game, and if you don't think you will enjoy it.. Leave it alone. According to the team this won't be off setting any of their other planned updates, so what's not to like? Please do this update.
