1. I don't want PVP in sayling skill, because then is unfair Advantage for People who go with Teams against People who don't find a Team to saling with.

Other things Sound good to me, but no pvp in sailing please.

2. will be sailing only a OSRS Skill or be in Runescape 3 too?

It is being polled. A strawpoll from Reddit shows over 65% approval. That is more than what Artisan got IIRC. They have just said they are looking into it. If sailing gets voted in, they will hire two more people to work on it, thus negating any additional dev time. Wait until we learn more before you make an opinion.

I haven't seen anyone say no and give a reason why.

Please explain what you think sailing would be and why it would be bad?

I'm pretty sure if most people who said no really understood what sailing could offer they would change their minds and say yes to the skill.

If sailing should pass, existing or planned Zeah content should be split up into pieces to be put into sailing. Either as random islands to be visited or become larger stationary islands unlocked through leveling sailing.

Why? Well Zeah and sailing have a huge amount of overlap and the design schedule to complete both is simply impossible even with new developers. Increasing landmass by 50% AND one of the most complicated skills ever within half a year is so ridiculous. Even during RS2's prime with all of Jagex's resources on one game this would be a huge stretch.

It would be extremely difficult to come up with an amount of content and balance for both of them without each new piece of content devaluing the other. Not only that, but rushing cramped time frames and QA testing bigger updates has been a problem with OSRS in the past. If there are unforeseen difficulties with sailing and it gets delayed, Zeah would be delayed as well so both updates would have a huge amount of pressure to release as soon as possible.

"We want to do sailing and we want to do it right." Looking at OSRS's track record the only way I believe that can happen is for some major time to be spent fleshing it out as fully as possible. Not only would splitting Zeah up give more time for sailing, it would fill out the levels and give it a very dense amount of content. After all, Zeah is just a very large island so it could be adapted pretty easily.

Ugh this why I hate forums so many dumb posts obviously some those people didn't even read the blog or they know it's gonna be polled and not affect time schedule of other content....
But anyways this update sounds amazing it's like player owned ports in a sense and that update was a hit!
Also the potential for new quests, slayer monsters, bosses, pets, and new ways to train skills not to mention New areas and finally some underwater activities other then the dumb diving an killing a crab...
Very excited for this can't wait!!! Hopefully it's compatable with ironman accounts.
