Sounds interesting, support, i will most likely vote yes look forward to seeing a more detailed and updated dev blog.

PVP aspect of it sounds phenomenal.

I don't exactly see why rigour and augury need to be introduced in relation to the sailing skill.... nonetheless im happy to see jagex is finally seriously considering the introduction of these two prayers.

Please no, Jagex. You're breaking my heart.

I was pumped about 2007scape (and still am), and it's because I love playing the game as it was in 2007. I don't want new skills, weird updates, etc. Basically anything that detracts from the 2007 feel that this game has is a kick in the teeth to the people who came back with promise of a true oldschool experience.

Sailing is not oldschool. Augury + rigour aren't oldschool and aren't necessary in the game. You're starting the same power creep you started seven years ago and it's going to lead to alienating the people who came back to this game thinking that it would be as close to 2007 as possible.

I'm appalled, I hope the community makes the right decision on this one.

Would you prefer it if we went back to the beginning of 2007scape where we don't have basic QoL like resizable mode, bank tabs, banking options, loot notifications, transparency, OSBuddy client, world map, etc.? None of this was present in 2007, and these changes have been almost unanimously supported by all but the most hardcore nostalgia enthusiasts.

Unless you want the game to die within the next few years, change needs to happen. I understand the desire for nostalgia, I really do, but without the game moving forward and bringing in new compelling content it just won't hold an audience. I'm aware this seems like a slippery slope fallacy, but it's just reality; games die without support and progress, no matter how good the original experience was.

You've got to be joking?

This is OLDSCHOOL.

Are you really trying to develop what was a joke for the longest time into a skill? That's absolutely pathetic. Get some real content and provide for your characters instead of ruining the damn game.

Stop wasting DEV time and accept the fact people don't want this trash.

It would be cool if you can send out your ship and crew to go gather fish or resources while you are away, rescue npcs lost at are to recruit them to your crew, let friends onto your ship to voyage and kill high lvl monsters, maybe a clan ship or a ship with a friend so you can have multiple ships, a quick travel to places you've been too, ransoms that put you somewhere you've never been before to add to the exploration, and each crew member has a specific job like cook, cannoneer, Ect. And they lv up as you lvl up also being able to give them items and the better the items the better your crew is (it's a good little money sink)
