PLEASE for the love of god, DO NOT bring sailing to old school. you're making it more likes RS3 and that's exactly why I stopped playing RS3. I wouldn't even look at old school as being old school anymore. I would consider it RS3 with old school graphics. lame...so very lame. I thought old school would be a blast from the past not a blast into the future with old graphics -.- Definitely would quit playing if jagex decided to add "sailing" to osrs.
As for us haters, we do have no life, that's why we play old school.

Its fun content that keeps the game fresh. I wouldn't say it "needs" it, but it definitely is nice. Maybe you're a new player who didn't play back in real golden day rs but we used to get a new skill yearly, and it pretty much always recieved positive feedback. It's something most people enjoy when the game gets shaken up a little every now and again.
