please stop doing ridiculous things first zeah then deadman and now sailing...
i dont care for deadman mode since its seperate from the main game but please dont make zeah and sailing
if you want to add a new skill then do summoning or dungeoneering. I dont care if its nerfed/different.
or do player owned ports instead of this please...
also the main thing i dont like about this sailing is the pvp. It doesnt make it clear how pvp works but pleease if this passes a poll dont do pvp... pvp will only add griefing to the skill similar to dragon spear glitch abuse
This sounds really good! It could be a VERY good way of bringing uses to the old skills that we're all used to by now. I'm all in for this one and I really hope people read all of it and take it into consideration before bashing it completely.

What the hell is wrong with Jagex? I mean you keep pushing "new" content and yet you still have such a useless skill like firemaking that so desperately needs a rework...how about fixing what you have instead of taking the easy road out and forcing another craptastic skill into os...thank you for your time

Can someone explain to me why people are hoping this is a joke and acting like it will be a terrible update when we barely know anything about the skill yet?
because it's always been a joke. Prime example was when they added Sailing as a (though MUCH simplified) joke on April 1st of 2014.
They added dragon plates as an april fools joke, then added them for real

First off, thank you for at least giving us the option of a poll to see if we want this or not. Secondly, I don't think any major updates such as Sailing should be added to Old School Runescape if it hasn't even been in RS3 yet. Just my two cents though.
OSRS is about taking a different path from RS3. We have plenty of exclusive content they don't have.
Hmmm...
