I really hope this isn’t some cruel joke... I remember back in 2008 when the Sailing rumors started. I was one of the players who was really interested in the skill. I remember talking to my cousin about the possibilities for hours one day. When Dungeoneering came out instead, I was a bit let down; Dungeoneering was nice, but it wasn't as good as my vision of what Sailing could have been. This Dev Blog sums up everything I'd want to see from a Sailing skill. It is more than just sailing boats, it is about exploring the unknown and finding islands with new secrets and treasures. I can't wait to hear more on this and hope the community can keep an open mind...

My thoughts exactly. If dungeoneering were to be released, it would only be a matter of time before people started to ask for chaotics, and this would become some gross Pre-EoC/OldSchool hybrid.

...that's it? I'm REALLY disappointed, especially because it was hyped up SO much. Please just add the content, like the new islands and Rigour and Augury, without the skill, and the actual sailing part, like exploration, can just be a minigame type thing.

I'm excited if this means we can fish while we're on the boat. I know whaling was joked about in the live stream but maybe it isn't so far fetched xD "The closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes."
