Imo hellhound boss and abyssal demon boss should swap lvl req. 95 slayer for a hellhound? While the original hellhounds don't even have a slayer requirement..

This would make sense with the "normal" krakens and smoke devils having the same level requirements as their boss counterparts. This can't apply for the hellhound boss because releasing a new boss with the kind of drops it's going to have with no requirement apart from a hellhound task would make the drops less valuable a lot quicker. It would also be an insult to people with "higher" level slayer.

With that logic, the hellhound boss should require no slayer level at all to kill.

Do you think if hellhounds were never released and they came out with a hellhound boss for this update the normal ones would be 1 slayer and the boss 95? No, not at all, this is just the way it has happened to work out. 99% of the people complaining about this 95 slayer req are 60-85 slayer I bet. Stop being lazy and go and train the skill if you want to be able to fight it.

It's not about being lazy, there's just no logic behind it, like I pointed out. All I'm saying is, 95 slayer makes no sense for a hellhound. If your reason for abyssal demon boss is a must at 85 slayer and can't be swapped for the reason abyssal demons are 85 slay, hellhound boss should require no slayer lvl at all.

About the dagger;
the dagger seems a bit useless. It's by no means any endgame weapon and has no real use for anyone but a pure. That said, none of the updates for pures seem to pass, thus I honestly don't see this one pass either. Therefor I'd rather see a different weapon. A best in slot 1h crush weapon perhaps.

I think Cerberus items fit in well at 85-90 slayer i believe 90-99 range is way to high for monster drops these kinds of items.

If we compare it to glacors on release it only required a 2-5 hour quest with 76 skill requirements also glacors give best dps item game at time , staff of armadyl.

If we also look at future aspect of slayer updates when zeah comes , i think having a boss at 95 already kind of kills magic from future bosses in 95-99 range.

having Cerberus at 87-90 slayer would in my opinion be more fair only 2500-4000 people can access Cerberus at 95 slayer that's not going to make majority happy at all i believe if anything it should be polled as someone already said , put in levels say should Cerberus requirement be 77/82/85/87/89/90 think that would be best way do it with highest % winning.

Boss slayer is an awesome idea.

However, Some monsters such as Corporeal Beast and maybe Zulrah should be excluded. For other bosses there should be categories. ( GWD bosses, Wildy bosses, Wildy Demi Bosses and Other bosses, that don't fit in like KBD, KQ, Mole, etc )

Furthermore, can the people who already have 99 slayer please stop crying about these monsters not being 95+ slayer? It's not an insult towards you and your high level. I'm pretty sure you've got your rewards it as it is. Keeping the requirements at an upper-intermediate level will motivate the lower level slayers, which is more beneficial to the game than having the maxed slayers make tons of cash within the 1st week of release. Think about it... which is better for the game... already maxed out people gaining bank or medium/low level people being motivated by the upcoming update? I personally think motivating people to train a skill would work better.

Also i do agree on the dagger being a slightly funny idea. It's basically a dragon scimitar with +4 str and +8 attack bonus, which doesn't change much. As someone mentioned, an Abbyssal scythe/maul/best one-handed crush weapon would be much better. A 1handed crush weapon wouldn't devalue any of the current items either as there basically isn't a good one, that's purpose is to be used as a crush weapon. (Hasta and Sot* would keep their usefulness)

yep voteing no on ever thing now thanks to ppl ruining boss slayer no slayer helm on all bosses means alot nos from alot ppl

I wouldn't mind but I am guessing they were concerned the slayer helm might be ** on bosses. I personally wouldn't mind, heck its only on task anyway. What is 10 or 20 Bandos kills with slayer helm. But you know the OSRS minority. They cry and the Mods deliver.

It's not that. You do realize making a content that only 2000 players can even access. My point is the requirement is way to high, there is a ton of slayer content that is in the 90's. There needs to be some middle tier stuff.

How many level 90 bosses are we going to get. Give some love to the players who are in the 70 slayer ranged. I think Cerb should be lv 80 ish slayer. I don't mind working for 95 slayer. But the elites have to much content.

i also dont understand the restriction to be able of needing the slayer task to be able to kill them. People have worked hard for 95 yet still have to get task to kill them.

I know its to prevent prices going down, but every other boss not related to slayer seems to do just fine, such as gwd and even the highly camped zulrah signature drops are still high enough value.

Just wondering why the system for slayer bosses is different? it just seems to be a mechanism copied from rs3 without proper explanation

Adding req doesn't prevent prices from dropping. Look at 90 slayer req for Dark Beasts dark bow is crashing. Besides the Hellhound boss like you said is on task only. So in principle I am not seeing the problem already. It will probably be an uncommon task. The drop rate of those items must be 1/512. It will take a year or two without item sink to crash. No matter what req you set, saying because it will keep prices high is a compleltly bull argument. Only item sinks will be needed. These drops will help keep ranger boots and their counterparts high. As they act as ranger boot sinks.
