Lol Mod JC always loves jumping from one extreme to another. I don't think adding content that less than 3k out of the 100k players on OSRS can access is needed yet; maybe reconsider lowering it to 90?
Thanks
I'd say about 87 tbh

high end slayer bosses really should be more profitable than zulrah or atleast have better signature drops, these slayer bosses seem to have neither
people who have afk'd nmz have got zulrah so they still have the better deal unlike the players who have actually put effort into raising their combat through slayer

Not sure if stupid or troll. 95 slayer for slightly better boots? Not sure if we're heading towards good or bad here? So abyssal whip was 85 slayer and is best weapon. leaps ahead of dragon scimitar, but ohhh nooo to get plus 1 str we need a whole 95 slayer. Do people think before saying things? what's next 99 slayer req to wield bronze dagger?
Are you thinking before you speak?
What is some people's fixation on the ratio of armour to weapons? With melee, the majority of the offensive bonuses come from the weapon. With range it's about equal between the weapon and the armour, with armour being slightly in favour. With magic it's almost all in the armour.
When it comes to offensive melee armour, there are so little bonuses available that any extras are very valuable. Look at tassets as an example, +2 strength for 21m? Granted they're the overall best non degradable legs for melee, but without that +2 strength they would be MUCH less desirable. People are willing to pay a lot more for that little bit extra (granted it's not always about the bonuses, for e.g farseer helm is +6 magic and costs 60k, third age mage hat is +8 magic and costs 12m? One; because it's rare and two (and more importantly); it's best in slot.
Bottom line; people are willing to pay for the best in slot item.
As for the 95 slayer requirement, that is absolutely perfect. When I saw the strawpoll on twitter from Johnc asking about 92 or higher slayer, I said to a friend I'd settle for 92 slayer req but would prefer 95, under ten minutes later the 95 slayer req was annouced.
It gives you something to work for and gives those of us with the level already something to look forward too. I'm glad higher slayer levels are being rewarded.

Exactly. I wish Zulrah had a 95 slayer req to kill (not just saying this because of the recent 95 slayer req for the hellhound boss), rewarding higher level slayers is always a good thing imo, because of the time they've put into the skill.
Imo hellhound boss and abyssal demon boss should swap lvl req. 95 slayer for a hellhound? While the original hellhounds don't even have a slayer requirement..

We have a slayer boss with an 87 req already. Plus the abyssal demon boss is going to be 85, so releasing an update for 85 and 87 slayer at once is very lackluster for those higher level slayers. 95 was a perfect choice.

This would make sense with the "normal" krakens and smoke devils having the same level requirements as their boss counterparts. This can't apply for the hellhound boss because releasing a new boss with the kind of drops it's going to have with no requirement apart from a hellhound task would make the drops less valuable a lot quicker. It would also be an insult to people with "higher" level slayer.
i also dont understand the restriction to be able of needing the slayer task to be able to kill them. People have worked hard for 95 yet still have to get task to kill them.
I know its to prevent prices going down, but every other boss not related to slayer seems to do just fine, such as gwd and even the highly camped zulrah signature drops are still high enough value.
Just wondering why the system for slayer bosses is different? it just seems to be a mechanism copied from rs3 without proper explanation
