I like it all except, of course, the Abyssal Dagger. As many others have said: even with a special attack it would still be of limited use. I really have no suggestion on a replacement for it, though maybe you could look into a one handed strength-only attack weapon that is on-par with the whip.
Being a kitty playing Runescape since 2001, and successfully dividing by 0 since 1986!

The revision looks great! Still would rather see a new slayer master that assigned tasks relating to bosses (e.g. black dragons, abyssal demons, hellhounds, etc), but the change with the slayer helm is a good compromise. I also love the dagger's special attack! It reminds me a lot of the pvp javelins; I loved those things. I was kinda hoping Cerberus would be a level 78 target to fill that gap, but 95 works too considering its drops; also glad to see it in tav. Also, glad to see the herb sack nerfed to a more reasonable number.

From no slayer req to 95 for slightly better boots? I didn't agree with the boss not having a slayer req but the boots should be a little more then +1 str, +4 range attack and +3 mage attack for that high of a req.

Alot of good stuff here i think. Nothing major in my opinion, however there are two things i thought i'd mention:
Dragon pickaxe and axe: In pre eoc rs people often stuck with dragon axe over inferno becouse of the burn effect. the fact aht you only get 50% xp and that it degrades makes it a quite bad upgrade. i have a hard time imagining people upgrading their picks and axes into a degradeable item with a tiny smith/fm bonus at the cost of loss of wood and ores. the only place i can imagine that people wc for xp is willows/mahogany (logs that you get alot of per hr) so 5k would last you for some hours? i would much rather see a faster axe and pickaxe. or a new wood/ore which can only be mined with a such upgraded pick/axe. but i dont think it should be degradeable nor should it work like the inferno and only last for 5k. rework that idea please.

Abyss dagger. Two ways to go here 1. make the weapon usefull for fulltime use, 2. make the weapon usefull for only spec use. It seems your going for the 2nd way. But personally i'd rather see a better abbyss dager consider the difficulty of obtaining it. trying to make items "balanced" have made you make everything underpowered. it used to be people complaining over items being overpowered now its opposive. it should be slightly better than zammy hasta in my opinion. (slayers rarly care if you can avoid training def, but might help price slightly + you make the dagger super pvp friendly)

i just thought i'd mention that you keep talking about how unbalanced melee and range are compared to melee. however i dont see alot being done about it. new dagger? what about glacors with soa? or soulgazer with hex? they are super representative of the classical combat triangle =)

I hope the abyssal dagger's special drain rate will be low so it's possible to stack the special with something else (though you shouldn't be able to stack two DoT effects).

If not, dead content on arrival most likely. Abyssal weapons will forever have boring specs.

You will still gain a benefit compared to how you do boss slayer at the moment. You'll be able to choose from the bosses you can already do with the benefit from the slayer helmet. In addition, only boss kills will count towards your slayer task, so you can easily get KC for arma on aviansies, minions won't count towards your task etc.

I'm not overly pleased,

The Abyssal Dagger is still useless. No stats to render it useful. The Special Attack is also quite wasteful too. I would've just made it the same as Dragon Dagger Punture, but rather no strength increase. Only double the accuracy for the two hits at 50% special attack.

Consider the stats to the very least. I'll repost the proposal...

Please first read my post above. As you see, the Abyssal Dagger desperately needs a rework to avoid becoming irrelevant. I don't believe players should vote on a boss that both lacks any new drops, and also highly devalues the Abyssal Whips at the same time. Abyssal Dagger: Requires 70 Attack.
Stab: +80
Strength: +74

Special Attack: Abyssal Puncture.
(Drains 50% of the Special Bar.)

The user aggressively lunges two attacks forward offering double accuracy.


Why these stats:

I've chosen these stats to make the Abyssal Dagger a slightly weaker alternative to the Zamorakian Hasta. Most PvM'ers will still prefer Z'Hasta's slightly better +5 Stab, +1 Strength, +13 Defences, and +2 Prayer bonuses. The Abyssal Dagger will still be a potent tool in PvM considering its Special Attack, which also makes it great for PvP!

Is it overpowered?

No, the Dragon Dagger Special Attack (Puncture) deals an extra 15% damage, and adds an extra 25% accuracy. The Dragon Dagger also offer 4x Special Attacks. The Dragon Dagger Special Attack should hit the same, or higher, considering the Abyssal Dagger will not offer any increased Strength. The Abyssal Dagger also only offers 2x Special Attacks, but is great for PvP situations, and would truly make Hybridding FUN.
