I was extremely keen on this big slayer update, and everything in the blog seems awesome until you actually start thinking about things.
Firstly, the boss slayer tasks needs to be scraped straight away. In a way all its going to do is make everyone who kills corporeal beast extremely unhappy, knowing that every single kill they're going to get outhit by someone on task. Secondly, depening on how frequent and large these tasks are, all GWD and bossing items are going to spiral down in price even more, if anything, bossing needs to be made harder, or stay exxactly where it is. It seems as if every aspect of the game is getting easier and easier with every update.
The hellhound boss and Abyssal Boss. Firstly, it requires 85 Slayer to kill a boss that drops less valuable items than a new boss that requires no Slayer level that is assigned frequently?
In other words, the hellhound boss NEEDS i high level requirement. The Abyssal Dagger too just seems useless, maybe a pure will use it in place of a hasta.
There is no need to bring broad darts into the game, once again, it's just the game getting easier. Faster, cheaper range experience with an extremely OP PvM blowpipe? Remember when range used to be a bit slow to level up......and a bit more worthwhile.......
Now with the boots from Hellhound, i don't understand why it uses Infinity boots, Ranger boots, and Dragon boots?
Here's a suggestion, to make more sense, why not use wizard boots, as they are the Ranger boots counterpart, and instead of making 100k best in slow melee boots even better, find an alter*nitive such as making dragon boots a 1/512 or making another use for them. Or better yet, use bandos boots for this update, as they have always been borderline useless.
Alot of things need to change if this Slayer update goes ahead, maybe just a bit more thought being added in, along with not just dumping more monsters in the Stronghold Slayer Cave, like wheres the imagination in that?
