Just my two cents:

Boss slayer - I love the idea for slayer tasks for bosses. However, if this current proposal would be passed, it'd basically become a requirement to have a boss task on slayer to use the slayer helm would it not? I'm not really sure on a good method to correct this other than removal of slayer helm bonuses for boss tasks.

TzHaar task - Sounds amazing to me. Might actually motivate me to do the caves.

TzTok-Jad pet - Awesome. More collectible items like pets are fun content that doesn't impact the economy but gives bragging rights. Having a sink for fire-capes is kinda cool too since I feel like 70% of people have them on osrs.

Cerberus - Love the idea of new bosses, but where is the slayer requirement? It is a slayer update after all. I also have a suggestion for the boots part.

Suggestion:

- Eternal Boots: Upgraded with Infinity Boots + Magic Fang. Same stats previously listed, passive effect: Halves damage taken from venom/poison.

- Pegasian Boots: Upgraded with Ranger Boots + Tanzanite Fang. Also halves damage taken from venom/poison.

- Primordial boots: Upgraded with Dragon Boots + Serpentine Visage. Also halves damage taken from venom/poison.

Abyssal Sire - I like it but please make the whip still a very rare drop from it. IMO it'd be a bad idea to over saturate the market with whips (perhaps make it like 1/768)?

Extended tasks - Pure awesome.

Broad darts - I'll vote no on this one personally. I don't see any reason to devalue smithing/fletching. They are a cool idea, but mithril darts + adamant darts are in a seemingly good place right now and the addition of these darts (although expensive as they may be) would ruin at the very least mithril darts.

Herb sack - Good idea, I'd suggest something like 10-15 per herb but I like it either way.

Other update proposals: I like the other items listed as well (running out of characters) but perhaps take the focus off slayer cave and into the world?

Great stuff.

I really like the way you're going to be executing boss slayer. Getting to choose which boss to kill is a great idea. I do prefer this to what there is on RS3. Slayer Helm should work when on this task, else it's going to be a little pointless.

Hellhound Boss seems really cool, and I like how it has no slayer level requirement. This will give everyone with a decent combat level something new and exciting to experience. The boots seem perfectly balanced, and it's good that existing boots are needed to create the new ones.

85 slayer is a fair requirement for the Abyssal Sire boss, and it shouldn't be any higher than that. Just like the Kraken requires the same level as cave krakens, and Thermy requires the same level as smoke devils. The dagger seems a little underwhelming as it is. What if it had, let's say a 20% chance to hit twice every time?

I think a few adult green dragons should be added to the Stronghold Cave as well. The babies need looking after!

Spiritual Mages should get different battlestaves added to their drop tables.

Edit: please instance all the new bosses.

Perhaps. It'd be nice to actually require some training as opposed to just buying the best gear. Slayer training takes much more time than combat training given the current state of the game. Also, halos passed the poll.

Since pures are always voted against for whatever reason (the 200 defence experience for mounting a head to a wall... clearly some dislike of them going on here), these items don't have to be the best. They could even be cosmetic or useful only for certain purposes, like a weapon or armour that is effective against certain kinds of creatures.

Sounds great, let's get a poll going! :P

Could I make a small suggestion though, to buff the darklight sword. I think this would serve a fairly practical use with the abyssal sire coming in the next few months and not be too overpowered. Perhaps, buff the stats to be a lvl 70 tier equivalent longsword versus the current tier 60 power of a dragon longsword?

if we look at the boots, ranging boots have a melee defence, but no range defence? Instead, mage boots have range defence?

my suggestion (basing entirely of combat triangle):

eternal boots: +0 range defence
pegasian boots: +0 magic attack +0 melee defence, +8 range & mage defence
primordial boots: +0 range attack, negative magic defence (-1/-2)

(I would rework it a lot more, for balance, but I can't, because it's meleescape)
