We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. If we let players start doing this, it devalues RuneScape for others. We feel your status in real-life shouldn't affect your ability to be successful in RuneScape.

I think the yes voters don't have very long attention spans.

Add to the fact that people right here on this exact thread don't consider bonds to be RWT . I'm not sure what to say about that. Buy bond with credit card, sell bond and get gold. That concept must be pretty tough to understand for some people.

I can't wait for yes voters to come on here in about 2-3 days and finally realize what they've done.
If you put F2P prominently before any poll, it would probably pass.
F2P!!! (and it comes with a bot client).
I also heard on facebook that they sort of just ironed over the fact that bonds had to come with F2P. I think this is why voters usually have to be 18 years old, they can't be trusted to read and understand the terms involved.

But bonds in OSRS will only be used for membership and not used for Treasure Hunter keys, etc. so how is it considered microtransactions ? It's not going to be "pay to win" since there isn't going to be TH nor SGS in OSRS.
However for RWT, all Jagex needs to do is make them only buyable with ingame wealth and not IRL cash.
Pay to win means you buy a bond with your credit card, and sell it to the grand exchange for GOLD PIECES. Understand?
If you want millions of gold, you just get out the dam credit card! *sigh* I think people should sort of kinda have to make the money um, playing the game!
