I think that the options listed are a great start to the issue at hand, so props to Jagex. I personally was against the trading post to begin with, because I thought it would limit/eliminate in game interaction and merchanting in settings such as world 1. My thoughts were right and world 1 dwindles compared to what it used to be. I enjoyed merchanting as an unofficial skill of sorts and now its much more automated. Now that the trading post is in game, and presumably its here to stay, the best improvement that could be made would be to add a buy option. This is crucial to evening out markets and keeping a price from fluctuating too much. This also keeps the player to player interaction which is the point of an MMOR**. A small side note to add would be to definitely take down offers of players with their private chat off. It is the equivalent of being offline. The Grand Exchange was a large reason I stopped playing for many years before OSRS was brought back. Trading and merchanting are an underated and important part of the game that is eliminated with the GE. Understandably the majority should rule, but the present day Runescape has many of the feature that players in OSRS are asking for. Keep the games seperate. New content such as land masses, npc s, and quests are encouraged to be added because it adds value to the game without changing it.
