Personally, I do NOT want a grand exchange. Though, highly convenient it's like comparing simplicity & the profound things in life. Back in the day, you used to see children playing with jump-ropes & playing hopscotch but now a days you will see the majority playing a game on their "Iphone" because - of the shear convenience.
Listen, we're all very knowledgeable of the game, otherwise we wouldn't be playing it. More I've realized the majority of OSRS players are veterans and WE KNOW WHERE TO OBTAIN ITEMS.
I get it, you want a shortcut to the game since you think you know.. "Well, I know where to obtain it, grind it out, do it on my own & I've been playing the game for so long that I deserve to take a short-cut"
This isn't what RS2 was about, and if we want to keep the mentality of Runescape 2 alive I believe the TP does just that. Just make automatic trading because it does make things convenient but if somebody isn't online or the item isn't being listed, you may still go ahead and find the items on your own or look for somebody trading it.
& And are you guys SERIOUSLY telling me that you want PRICE GUIDES?!
Cannot tell you how many times I've sold an item for 50% more than what it is actually worth simply because the player either didn't know the price or didn't care.
+ Introduces new ways to scam via new items being released, a set price in the grand exchange is released & then players will charge over the top amounts because that's what the grand exchange says. It's like people are saying "ALL HAIL THE GRAND EXCHANGE, IT'S SOOOO GOOD" When really, it's garbage.
