"Anyone who is saying "who cares about staff price", you obviously aren't 93+ slayer. I have 8 staves in my bank atm collected from slayer"
False, 20m+ slayer here, couldn't be happier with the update.
Btw tip, you might want to sell your most valuable slay drops instead of hoarding them in the bank, prices always fluctuate.
And crying about it only shows that you only care about your little slayer profits and not well being of the game.
You haven't read much of what I've posted if that's your conclusion. There's always going to be minority for something. For e.g there will be a player with 91+ rc that wouldn't care if nats dropped to 100 gp each. If you think splashing effected the well being of the game then i imagine you haven't been around in rs for that long.
Of course prices fluctuate. I'm doing now exactly what I've done the first time getting 99 slayer, collecting my drops and selling them when i achieve the level, i lost money that time and i expected to again. You don't seem to understand anything that I've posted from your response.
Although I agree with the outcome of the splash decision, I don't agree that you held a poll and didn't abide with what more than half the players wanted. Simply holding a poll doesn't mean anything if your not going to hold your end of the deal. Old school is about the players, not you.

The votes against splashing and afk nmz are almost identical. I don't understand how you go against about a 55% percent ratio. You say using guthans at nmz costs a lot and requires you to have levels. So does splashing..
Splashing is cheaper than alching and much cheaper than ice barraging and pretty much any other method you care to name. The only cheaper way I know to train magic is to PVM with fire strike and pick up the drops. But obviously, this is much less afk.
And there are zero level requirements. You can start splashing chickens with air strike at lvl1 magic.
Don't forget there are 2 reasons that splashing became so popular:
1) Removing randoms as everyone has been discussing.
2) Rune packs in the stores have greatly reduced prices for mind and air runes. I remember having to pay 15gp per air or mind rune to get them in bulk before that update (go look at price graph on the big Z). Now you can get them in nearly unlimited amounts for under 5gp each. This changes the economics dramatically.

I am glad seeing that afksplashing and commission staking have been tweaked, thank you for doing this and cracking down on the RWTrs.
I am one of the few that play via bonds and am grateful that gold swapping has been left. Maybe something to consider is adding untradeable bonds in OSRS where one can buy off an NPC without having to swap to RS3 to buy bonds. Being the npc would sell untradeable bonds they would remain this way however could be redeemed by the player who bought them for membership.
The whole point about bonds is that SOMEONE is paying Jagex real money for your membership. In exchange, you give that person some amount of in-game GP. There will never be an NPC selling them because that would only get GP for Jagex, and not real money. Jagex doesn't need GP.
If you ask me, I don't know what Jagex is thinking when they endorse GP exchanges through trust trading. If they want to say this is OK, then they should implement an in game system to handle the GP swaps from RS3 to OSRS. Maybe with an NPC who takes 10% of the transaction every time you move the GP? The problem with this would be setting the exchange rate, though maybe they could do some kind of GE-like solution where you match up buy and sell offers?
Personally I think that allowing GP swapping is worse than just letting people buy and trade bonds in OSRS.

so we vote for you guys to change nothing.........and you guys change
everything
......nice
They changed what needed to be changed, play the game instead of leaving it alone to do on it's own for hours on end and stop being a child about how they took away one small thing that made you able to ruin the game for yourself and other players.
What about the price of smoke staves for 93+ slayers, what's your resolution on that one?
I dont see anyone complaining about smoke staves dropping in price. They could drop to 1gp for all i care, aslong as they fix this 6 hour afk splashing.
Exactly my point. Because it doesn't effect you, you're not going to care. Simple minded people like you are really what's wrong with poll systems. You vote for yourself and don't think/care about how the update will effect other areas of the game like item crashes.
If it does affect you skip smoke tasks, therfore stop waste your time on the forums, and start make money in the game to cover your lose
