Exactly my point. Because it doesn't effect you, you're not going to care. Simple minded people like you are really what's wrong with poll systems. You vote for yourself and don't think/care about how the update will effect other areas of the game like item crashes.


If it does affect you skip smoke tasks, therfore stop waste your time on the forums, and start make money in the game to cover your lose ^_^

Also as I've pointed out many times**** is very much an afk game, I'm not wasting any time here.

I haven't lost any money? My complaint is now the highest level slayer monster is under half as profitable as it was, which imo is just ridiculous.

No wonder you can sense the frustration sometimes with devs, trying to explain something to certain types of people is a nightmare.

This guy reminds me of those folks back in RS3 who were arguing that Jagex shouldn't do anything about bots because that would make it harder for them to buy yews for fletching and lobsters for pking and essesnce for RC. Meanwhile there's armies of lvl3 bald guys in green outfits around every yew tree in f2p, and a little line of them running from the bank to the ess mine in Varok.

The smoke staff would crash eventually just like every new item, since more come into the game every day and none leave. Go find some other way to make money if that doesn't work for you anymore. Rookie mistake spelling "you're" wrong in the same sentence as you type the word stupid.

Yeah, splashers are exactly the same as bots, total. Sarcasm if you're slow (might be from the looks of your post, but I don't judge).

Someone else who yet again doesn't understand what I'm trying to get across. My personal gp isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the most profitable drop from slayer more then halving in value over night. Obviously items drop over time, but I'm sure that anyone who goes Bandos regularly would have a huge problem if tassets halved in price over night, right? The splashing training method has always been here to repeat myself for the 50th time. Also, how are they playing the game as you stated if they're afk? That doesn't make any sense. I feel like I'm talking to a sequence of brick walls to people on this thread.

I have no problem in the slightest in making gp, as you said, there are tons of ways to make gp in rs, but that's not the point.

I agree with many who have posted about the recent update to combat splashing. Why go out of your way to poll the community, all while saying you are giving the power to the players, just to go behind all of our backs and do the opposite. This to me looks like the childish, outlandish acts of an adolescent team who can't run a game properly. This will be my last subscription on all three of my 07 accounts.

On a serious note if an item only has value because it helps abuse a broken game mechanic then thats really pathetic. Smoke staff does have some uses so it won't plummet to 200k like some people on here exaggerate, however if it really got to the point where it wasn't worth going to the boss to get it then I am pretty sure a buff is all it really needs, it's a simple fix. Bring memes to OSRS general forum

About untradeable items in the Wilderness.

There should be a NPC scavenger that collects lost untradables around runescape. You can still pick them up but if you don't in fixed amount of time, he will. He could sell these items back but it should cost you more than it would cost you to make a new one but not too much. Maybe ~500k-1m for torso and ~2-5m for fire cape. So this is for people who find Jad hard to do or for people who just don't want to spend time on doing that.
Another idea would be that when you die with untradeables you drop money and the item breaks. It would cost same or a bit more amount of money to fix them. This would make risking a bit more fair (in some situations) and would stop people with extremly low risk (voiders with food and power amulet). This idea could be used with or without the first idea.

Very happy with this, I think that you've made some wise decisions there :)

I didn't mind splashing per se, but I didn't think it was fair that people could click their screens just once and then continue "playing" without looking at their screen for six hours after; this totally solves that.
You have a point about people having played the game longer if they can wear guthans, although my argument above is still valid then; would be nice if they could be interrupted somehow, or that guthans degrades faster (read someone suggesting that).
Happy that you fixed this commission staking, I didn't even know it existed, but good job there as well.
I'm not in favour of exchanging gold, but I can live with this solution :P
And as far as retrieving untradeable items goes: if you die, you often lose them, that's just how it is. Don't risk stuff like that if you don't want to do without it ;)
