To the mods, in regards to the splashing update
- you have once again solidified you're hipocracy. Not only did you alter large aspects of the game, but you did so without polling. And to add to the fact, you did this after seeing a survey in which 54% of people agreed no change should be made and on top of that 15% decided if this were to be changed, that it should be done so through the use of the polling system! What do you do? Change it 3 days later WITHOUT using the poll system.. I don't think you realize how much you have affected the price of the smoke battle staff along with the runes used in conjunction with it. Not only am i angry about this but i am dissapointed. I have been working at 93 slayer for over a year now and 300k experience before i achieve my goal i get to see the price of the most valuable, and rarest slayer item in the game, drop in price by 50%! Once again i would like to thank you guys for not only ruining the drive for me and many others to achieve 93 slayer, but for changing a major aspect of the game without using the poll system. Jagex you never seem to fail at ruining not only rs2/eoc but also osrs.

I hope you don't take too much offense to this.. but also fully understand why I and many others of the community are fully outraged that you once again updated OUR game without consulting us.

They changed what needed to be changed, play the game instead of leaving it alone to do on it's own for hours on end and stop being a child about how they took away one small thing that made you able to ruin the game for yourself and other players.

I dont see anyone complaining about smoke staves dropping in price. They could drop to 1gp for all i care, aslong as they fix this 6 hour afk splashing.

Exactly my point. Because it doesn't effect you, you're not going to care. Simple minded people like you are really what's wrong with poll systems. You vote for yourself and don't think/care about how the update will effect other areas of the game like item crashes.

If it does affect you skip smoke tasks, therfore stop waste your time on the forums, and start make money in the game to cover your lose ^_^

You just quoted me about calling someone simpled minded, then you post what is probably the most simple minded post yet.

Also as I've pointed out many times**** is very much an afk game, I'm not wasting any time here.

I haven't lost any money? My complaint is now the highest level slayer monster is under half as profitable as it was, which imo is just ridiculous.

No wonder you can sense the frustration sometimes with devs, trying to explain something to certain types of people is a nightmare.

Dude, stop being desperate its just a game, and Jagex decided to update it by survey. If you dont like it go play RS3 ^

You can imagine whatever you like, but acting in every post like you're the smartest cat in the room can only go so far, there's always going to be someone who knows, or played more. Screaming your opinion about somewhat resolved issue endlessly seems rather pointless.

iSlay Baked, I get it, we all would like some juicier loots. Still, new drops can always be introduced, old ones buffed. I'll gladly lose some of my profits, if that means getting rid of things like splashing, nmz afking, which, imo, are ruining the game.

i am against all of this for the simple reason that jagex claimed we would all come to an agreement on this issues and they went ahead and "fixed" everything without the community agreeing. this looks more like a repeat of how we wound up with ruinedscape. i believe these problems should be fixed but the community needs to agree on a solution plain and simple majority said these things werent an issue at the time so why didnt you listen? this is the kind of stuff that makes me want to leave this game again. jagex claims to care about the community with this poll crap yet fails to listen to the community. i dont get it.

Old School Runescape is going downhill the same way RS2/EOC/RS3 did. Jagex, don't let this happen! Everywhere I go I see ultra rich players that didn't earn their money, maxed combat players that only reached level 70 or so on their own, etc. What happened to actually playing the game? Back in the real 2007 game, you could walk around the world and see players of all levels legitimately training combat all over the place. Roaming through the world was fun because there were always people doing something wherever you went. Now though? Not at all. It's as if everywhere except the nightmare zone is wasted space. To get to a high level in this game, players should have to spend time playing the actual game. I can't believe the dev team is allowing such blatant exploits to ruin the game. It's as if they have no clue what they're doing.

The boss is still reasonable but with the main drop over halving in price it is still going to make some people upset. A perfect example would be if armadyl hilt halved in price. Armadyl would still be reasonable gp, but no-way near as rewarding for the requirements it's takes to kill the boss.

Lol? I think the results of the last several polls show pretty definitively that some things can't be left to the community. AFK training is exactly the kind of thing that made RS3 what it is today, and the community is voting for it.

So you haven't been playing for that long from that response. I am not at all trying to act smarter then anyone else, I just have a lot more experience with Rs then most.

And of course there's always going to be someone who knows more about a topic then you, I'm not claiming to know the most about anything.

I have not been screaming in the slightest, all my posts I think have been constructive and I'm trying to make every narrow minded person see my points of view, because clearly they aren't getting it. Everyone has opinions which is fine, but when you're going to say I'm completely wrong about something I've posted, I'm going to reply and explain my reasoning.

If you think OS will ever come even close to what rs3 is atm, then you have very little faith in these devs.
