I love the new fish and the bait dropped from zombies is perfect. I like the updates keep it up! :)


I kinda wish the fish healed like 24 or maybe something that heals 15 in two bites.

I just dont see people going out there for this small of a boost, especially since tuna potatoes are easier. Not to mention 85 cooking and 90 fishing.

Because we don't like Power Creep here in OSRS. It's not meant to devalue Sharks (by a lot). We respect all the content in the game as a whole, not fragmenting it into pieces and making some of those pieces worthless. Long live the Wilderness. Long live risk vs reward in PVM. Long live 2006.

Id say +5 in the offensive. This matches the 5 strength and keeps them below zamorak book.

Neither of the new shields give additional damage to my knowledge so being below the zamorak book makes'm.. useless.

Most of this looks okay, but I will be voting against the magic staff. For such a weak spell it costs way too much. I don't believe the inventory saving aspect of it is powerful enough to justify spending so much for a spell that only hits 22 at level 99.

Fire wave has two less max hit than that at level 75 and costs several times less per cast.

Lets assume the majority of the updates passed, I think we should HIGHLY consider removing 10 worlds with these updates. These updates seem really interesting, and although i might not use some of these new features, I feel like the wilderness will be swamped. With the current amount of worlds, it keeps pkers having to do some work to actually get to the people using these new features. Honestly if we take away 10 worlds, we're slowly going to see these great features that you, Jagex, will have to work so hard on go to waste. Whose gonna want to hop back and forth to a limited amount of worlds with pkers waiting at every place? Maybe i'm wrong, but hopefully my input makes SOME sense.

The question whether skilling in wild is profitable enough to make this update work is a pretty crucial thing. If there is a balance between making it timeworthy for the pkers and profitable for the skillers (with armour and combat stats) this could work. In addition to this I would like to propose an idea which would help both the skiller and the pker to maybe make it even more interesting.

Idea:

My idea is to add some kind of bank deposit boxes into the wild, close to these new resources and which you can only use to bank your items for a certain fee, but this has to be in multi combat areas and it also shouldn't be too expensive for those gathering unnoted resources. (I'm pretty sure there could be a good balance of the cost of the fee.)
The chance of a team/pker being at those "deposit spots" to kill you would be greater than the longer non-multi route to the bank, which makes it way more risky and exciting.
On top of that, these spots would become a place where one team would most likely find another and start an epic teamfight. And if you are a solo pker you could still try to kill those skillers alone, because they probably brought some cash to pay the fee.

A lot of you might not like the idea, but please give me some feedback on this :)

The 'line' isn't simply 'blurred'. If this stuff is implemented into what once was 'old school', the line is entirely gone (and it will only get worse from here).

Whatever you do with regard to this: don't listen to these whiners begging for bribing their prey with things like deposit boxes in the wildy. That's not old school and there's NOBODY here that doesn't already know that!
