This staff will be dead content before it comes into poll. Make it so were those runes give one charge and 1 charge is 10 casts. Also would be even better if damage per hit was max 34-44. 75/99 Mage. Love everything else but like to see pvp worlds gone and bnk tabs

The non tradeable items that are turned into gold, does that mean you loose the non tradeable item when you die? Or do you just die with it and it turns to gold for the pker but its still there for you to come back and pick up?

The Dark bow only required 60 ranged to use and was a drop from a lvl 90 slayer monster. So why not even the playing field with a Dragon staff! This could be dropped from the Kraken monster.

Dragon staff
: This staff allows an infinite amount of air and fire runes to be used.
-
Special attack
: Allows you to double hit with the spell you are using and increases the max hit of the spell you are using by 50 % and uses 60 % special attack bar.
-Examples: the fire blast hits a max of 16, the special attack would allow you to hit 24 twice!

The special attack only works with the elemental spells.

The lowest level pure could be 32 just like the lvl 32 d bowers with 10 hp! But lets face it, this dragon staff could be more powerful down the road just like the dark bow!
And here's how: with the formula i made for the damage that the special attack could do, depends on the 4 basic spells you can use, earth, water, fire, and air.

So later on when you get 75 magic for fire wave, your max hit is 20 and with the special attack, your new special attack max hit would be a possible 30-30.

Even farther down the road, if Jagex decides to add surge spells back into the game. The fire surge can hit 30s with no special magical staff damage boosts or potions or prayers. The dragon staff would allow the special attack to be a whopping possible 45-45!


Bump # 2 trying to get this out there, would love this idea.... please bump this idea.

For those of you who are worried that the new shields are a bit OP, what stats would you like to see on them?


Id say +5 in the offensive. This matches the 5 strength and keeps them below zamorak book.

Id like to see some new mage/range armor and weapons with prayer bonus. Melee has initiate and prossy, why not give range and mage some lower tier armor with some sort of prayer bonus.

Also elite clues :)


I like this idea. Even if it didnt give bonuses, just no negatives.

I guess similar to monk robes but a little bit better.

Yup. Unless pvp worlds turn high risk they are pretty much pointless.

Why remove PvP worlds? Firstly, its only two worlds, and secondly, the wilderness still works in them...

If anything, PvP worlds would be more dangerous because of the different level bracket - you can attack anyone within (15 + level of wilderness) combat levels of you.


PvP Worlds are broke. There's no reason to be in them at all except to hide in Banks and rush people doing the same thing. But, they do take away a certain % of potential Wilderness participants.


Almost all of the people PKing on PvP worlds are rushers or Edgeville-style PKers, meaning that they would just be sitting in Edgeville on W2 instead of a PvP world doing the same thing. It doesn't affect the wilderness revamp at all.


Yes it does...theres less people...taking some of the revamp out of wilderness revamp.

I love how less than a year of 07scape has made better updates that 6 years of lead-up to EOC... finally working to IMPROVE wildy instead of ruin it; also a big fan of NMZ :)

Perhaps a bit trigger happy on all the updates, but hopefully that will provide for at least a few to get passed. For the slayer staff, why not no exp but high hitting? I loved how the polypore staff worked, but maybe that was just me...


Polypore staff really took out mages uniqueness of being a effects and assitance combat set.

It turned it into just a copy of range honestly. Even if it becomes more balanced it removes the uniqueness with polypore.

Also it was kind of OP imo.

I don't necessarily agree with the new updates to the wild as it will make it ridiculously harder to do level 3 clues; Especially considering it takes long enough to find the coordinates. However, I can get over that. But I think it is completetly unfair that you are allowing the aviansies in the wild to drop noted adamant bars while the ones in GWD do not. If one set of the same monsters drop something then they all need to.
