Mexk, I believe some Fmod, it might even be you (correct me if I am wrong please) has made a similar post in the Website and Forum demanding commnications and transparency from Jagex. As a result of that, the Community Partners people came into existence just to facilitate such conversions in a more time efficient way. Am I correct? If not, please correct me, otherwise, may I ask what is this already established solution a problem?

Besides, do you really think Jagex as a business do not put players as the consumers into considerations? They ran polls a lot more often now. Just that they may not have the time to post in the forums. However, they do a lot in Twitch and Tweeter, and occasionally in Reddit, and seemingly that's their preferred ways. But honestly can you say only users in the forums are players that Jagex need to communicate with?

I am not entirely sure which post you are referring to, though it sounds likely that I have called for increased transparency in regards to the forums - or perhaps simply more activity from Jagex Moderators! I do believe the LMods are intended to help cover some off-hours, though I have yet to see that program be rolled out in full and thus have no opinion as to whether or not it actually solved any issues. So far it looks good, but I think there is a long way to go. This is another topic for another thread, however!

I absolutely think that Jagex considers the players when making decisions; anything else would be poor business management. The point I am trying to get across is that whilst Jagex naturally needs to stay profitable and meet their requirements, we have reached a stage where it more often that not feels as though our wallets are more important than our loyalty as players. And that in and by itself is the core of the issue - especially long-term.

Just want to note that the outcries regarding MTX have already died down. Despite there being no official statement. And while we now clearly see a Second chance Tuesday promotion run on top of runepass. While I suspected both to happen, the speed surprised me.

On one hand it means this will remain an serious issue for the long term health of the game. But I guess on the other hand there is some good to this in that people rather like to focus on the nice things (such as the passion of both the community and developers for improving and releasing new content), instead of just focusing on the MTX scheme.

It definitely does not fix the MTX, but I prefer to play the game for fun.

Yep... I am quite saddened both by how quickly the, in my eyes, justified outcry faded and the lack of any official statement as to how Jagex sees the future of monetisation. I have to take Pebble's word for there being internal discussions on the matter. I hope something will be shared with us when possible.

I completely agree that it is amazing how people want to focus on the nice things - and I would absolutely love for it to be like that at all times. I think the hard truth, though, is that sometimes you need someone to highlight what can be done better. In that regard I reckon all thoughts concerning communication remain valid almost irregardless of topic. I am definitely hoping that we will continue to see thoughtful, more self-critical, and transparent Q/A streams on recent updates akin to the one mentioned throughout this thread.

Since you realized the formation of the LMod group have already been discussed I don't think I need to dig out those posts again unless you really want me to. If you have further opinions on it or you flat out disagree then why not go back to that thread in Website and Forums instead of calling out for Jagex?

There are also many threads regarding same monetization concerns, why do you need to add onther one?

Are you referring this thread, or somehow suggesting that LMods relates to monetisation concerns?

Lmods are not only related to monetistaion AFAIK. They help players to get better communication with Jagex.

Regarding this thread, a Jmod has already responded that they can't address to any individual question in this thread. This is pretty much in line with another Jmod's response to your "transparency" request in another thread. In that thread, the other Jmod clearly indicated it was hard for him to respond because there were priorities over these RSOF.

So I don't see how Jagex can better address your "transparency" request if they clearly said they had nothing else to address. Therefore, I'd say there is either no more further response from Jmod or you may try Lmods if you want to, but I bet the answer will still be the same. :D :D :D

The more players we lose, the more Jagex should realize maxing players xp means more players quitting. once they get their max cape they don't play anymore. Right now we are only getting 28k players a day and 96k total players a day. 5 months ago it was 35k rs3 players a day and 100k+ total players/day in peak hours. It's only getting worse every year. I need my blue charms back.

5 months ago there were 724k paid members in RS. Now, we have 765.4k paid members.

We don't lose players, we gained players and not just players but paid players. That's the fact. :D :D :D

"Runescape" gained members, but those members certainly don't play RS3. And why would they? MTX everywhere.
Don't forget – RuneScape members get TWO free spins a day instead of the usual one!

Pretty sure that number is the total amount of players subscribed since 2015 and not the current amount of players subscribed. Monthly hiscores gets 300k players a month and alot of those are f2p alts.

Show PROOF "those members certainly don't play RS3" please? PROOF from Jagex's 2017 official financial report shows 26% of their revenue in 2017 came from TH. TH is and has always been only on RS3. "If" nobody certainly play RS3, at least a lot of people PAID RS3. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
