Thanks for pointing out that Anthem and Fallout 76 are not doing really well... and that's because they don't have loot boxes. In particular, Anthem is doomed to die from the get go because they only have cosmetics as their sole source of MTX. That's another reason Jagex should never just have cosmetics have their only source of MTX because it doesn't bring in much money.

Please show the quote of what Respawn said about Apex Legends "not doing well" in E3. I knew EA said battle passes were not generated as much interest as they liked but that was before E3, and that's again battle passess not their loot boxes. :D

That's a very neutral stance to have on something that you can't be neutral with; if you're okay with those, in Jagex's mind it doesn't matter if you want less MTX and more actual content, because they see you as someone who will keep paying anyway even if they don't bother putting in more effort. You said it yourself: you're okay with this, so why would they bother changing anything? Jagex or any other gaming company out there doesn't care about you, they only care about your money, so if you let go of your money without expecting effort from them in return, they'll go where the fence is on the lowest.

If the other people don't like Jagex's or other game developers' products, they have all the rights not to buy. One like Yolola can "hope" other people don't buy MTX products, but in a free market consumers have as much right to pay for such goods/services as the producers to sell them.

Nobody is going to stop the operation of a free market, unless somehow the governments turns into dictators. :D

Anthem was doomed to die because what EA showed in the previous E3 was a complete lie and knew it won't sell well. The only reason lootboxes was not in game is to appeal to gamers by showing goodwill and hope that players will be willing to purchase the mess of a game that Anthem is. Instead of getting both bad game copies sales and MTX sales. Of course, they just fell flat on their faces.

Again, please show us what EA said. At least, you can show us at what time in that >3.5 hours long video did EA say anything Anthem. Your same old nonsense tactics of putting us nonsense without any quotes won't fool anybody at all. :D

You can't change the fact that Anthem and Fallout 76 did not bring in enough money from just cosmetics so they failed... and in the case of Fallout 76, they have to break their promises to add stats to their cosmetics and then sell progress buff. I am sure these two games are really good example to Jagex that cosmetics only MTX will fail.

How many times do I have to tell you single player games like God of War usually don't come with MTX. Only that when the developers begin to make them coop and eventually MMO games then pay-to-win begins to matter and so comes MTX. Uh Oh! RS3 and OSRS are MMO, so inevitably we have to see pay-to-win MTX in these games. Just live with the pay-to-win MTX. :)

And how many times do I have to tell you that single player games like Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey comes with MTX?
