Many reddit posts have brought up the removal of TH. Seems Jagex pushed Hero Pass too hard and now other MTX is under renewed scrutiny as necromancy fails to revive player enthusiasm.

Don't you see overwhelming numbers of Redditors want TH keys back in their Daily Challenges? No way can they remove TH when so many players love their TH keys now.

Players like that ever since 2013.

SOF was bad in 2012 because it handed out gp. That's why it lasted only one year. Then we have TH handing out xp and cosmetics for over a decade. Players obvious like TH.
