Too much money is made off it, only way to have it removed is if every single player refused to buy keys or buy bonds with real money.
I think bonds are fine as long as they aren't redeemed towards keys/spins.
As much as Treasure Hunter adds a bit of a daily login signin incentive for many players, I still support its removal. Why?
- XP/GP rewards devalue the accomplishments of others - With the recent TH changes, the amount of XP/GP (From Silverhawks, springs, magic notepapers) gained is absurd
- Gambling element (For folks who find it addicting)
I think Solomon's General Store, and Bonds should be the main form of microtransaction. Bonds should allow players to get X amount of oddments, with increasing amounts depending on the number of bonds redeemed. This would also allow Jagex to encourage the utilization of the oddment store, and benefit financially off its existence. There are many games which thrive off solely cosmetic microtransactions. League of Legends is an example of one which introduces skin content frequently. Jagex could very easily pivot and shift their microtransaction focus to SGS, bonds, and the oddment store...eliminating TH.

You could say the same about new training methods as those also "devalue" other ppl's accomplishments, yet no ones complaining about those.
So considering ppl seem to be ok with those, it makes 0 sense why ppl should be attacking TH when theres other things that cause the same problems.
As for "gambling", it isnt considering you always get a prize.

Considering the uk law is regulating the duel arena and th, I support full removal of th. First it starts with regulation then removal.
TH has nothing to do with duel arena. Duel Arena is player to player gambling but TH is absolutely not. We can't RWT with TH anyway.

Agreed.
So why ppl are trying to mix 2 things together that dont need to be mixed together, makes 0 sense.
Just because some ppl might have personal issues with TH isnt a reason for its removal.

Whats so bad about using them for keys?
Why are you wanting to limit how ppl can get keys?
Using bonds for treasure hunter supports treasure hunter. It's just buying keys, indirectly.
Also, I don't want to "limit how people can get keys." I just want TH removed. Simple as.

Treasure Hunter is becoming less random so gambling arguments by out of touch politicians alone can't remove it.

If you think politicians can't remove TH because it is becoming less random then why should Jagex remove it?
Politicians also care the least on "gambling" alone. What they care is RWT and illegal activities. TH doesn't facilitate player to player betting or gambling so it is not an issue at all.
On the other hand, Jagex are banning 3rd party run games of chance like flower games, as well as they are taking actions on RWT. When the real laws say Jagex have to care, they will need to care. When the law say TH is fine, there is no reason Jagex need to remove it.
