There is a bill that could end E cigs in New York state. If a bill on this passes I don't think a bill on loot boxes in video games is unrealistic. Of course though the United States don't have all these video games.

!! LOL !! You already forgot what I talked about a page ago? I'm talking about them lobbying against the new bill!!!
What nonsense about getting fired and ranting are you talking about???????? LOL!!
LOL!!! No game developers even care about the new "bill". Already asked you to tell us WHAT developers and WHAT lobbying several times and your answer is absolutely NOTHING because they only just point to ESRB and don't need to do a thing.
What nonsense about the lobbying when it is the gamers themselves, not the game industry expressing their concerns on the jobs of the people they know in the game industry, not the "bill" itself. Want to watch it once more:
This gamer gave very insightful smart comments on why true gamers, that means the ones who actually play the games, absolutely hate that bill:

Frankly, only idiots, especially the veteran management kind of game industry employees who sit on high salaries asked to be fired and become forum ranters or discord streamers. This gamer tells the plain truth. Businesses have to make money or else they fire the underperforming employees, make every day a "bank holiday" for the unprofitable project teams or even shut down such games. The least the companies care is the non-existing government regulation or Prince Harry or the 3 stooges who care against pay-to-win.

Anybody can propose a "bill" that could end all underage e-commerce activities including these RSOF. But wait, how can they enforce it in the real world? No, they can't.
Besides, real world cigarettes are only meant to be sold to real world adults but the vast majority of virtual items and services can be sold to EULA holders of any age where the terms apply.
Cigars have already been banned at beaches, airports, parks and many other place. In the future cigars will be banned entirely. E cigars will likely be banned at some point too.

That's exactly my point. Cigarettes are adult only content but the the virtual items we get from MTX is not.
If a game developer promotes cigarettes, x-rated motives, alcohols, etc in their games, such games can be banned. However, your xp lamps, cosmetics, Portable Vic among other virtual services are not adult themed items. Banning cigars have no effects on banning xp lamps.
It is obviously that when a store sells both cigarettes and canides, only the cigarettes will have the adult only real world regulation constraints. Nobody can say you must be an adult to buy cigarettes in that store therefore you must also be an adult to buy candies from the same store. No comparison whatsoever.

What is even the point of bringing that up when the topic is to discuss whether lootboxes and RNG based MTX should be considered "adult" content.

Keep going in circle without even showing one word about ESA's "lobbying" against any regulations certainly means nothing.
Trying to deflect the topic again. Please read the Protecting Children Against Abusive Games Act. It is not just about loot boxes and RNG based MTX but
ALL MTX targeting children
. I did not even bring up this cigarette topic, Scousy did and I just told him it did not have any implication to the bill in discussion.
And its not deflection, we're talking about how the bill may impact TH and TH is RNG based MTX.
