Because surprise surprise, Jagex have a history of chatting shit.

As for why I play the game: Cos it's a decent game. The company, in my opinion, is a greedy sack of shit like the EA, Aeria games and Activision but the games are usually good in the end.

Of course in the real world we always use stats to talk about real things. If you think Jagex stats is always BS, fine then, you have the right to believe the Player Online counter is always BS too.

Why am I bringing up other companies? Because the other companies show some people used misinformation when they are R rated and still have holiday events and emojis.

So COD and GTA don't have Christmas and Easter events? They don't have Santa Claus and such? Have you played actually played these games?

Sorry to tell you GTA even has a Nickelodeon City Mode too, and people have made vids even featuring the Nickelodeon Blimp.

They are going to upgrade the RS3 graphics anyway. Perhaps 3D characters look more mature. Not that sure about the bald headed, bearded funny men in green shirts outside RS3 target little kids though.
