Further from the discussion of the pace of UK video game regulation vs the USA...

"The UK Minister for Digital and the Creative Industries has disputed that loot boxes constitute gambling, and is
keen to avoid uninformed regulation
against them."

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2019-07-02-digital-minister-margot-james-defends-loot-boxes

Uh Oh! Seeming UK doesn't even care to catch up to the USA self regulation standard of ESRB.

Digital Minister Margot:
"
You need the evidence as a justification
for taking action, particularly if you're talking about regulation"

Yes, to give
evidence
, one must first show evidence to prove his IRL identity. Hmm.... that means no evidence whatsoever from most of the "kids" who cried so much. :(

My entire argument has constantly and completely stated mtx is NOT gambling... It's clearly theft.

Even before mtx... right here on these rs forums... I'm sure I woulda at least once said I think fb poker is stealing. Wtf man. Kids can pay $ for "poker chips" that can't be cashed out... It's like.... worse than actual gambling.. why should kids play it :s

Of course runescape is responsible for runescape... but look wtf other games are doing so.. I don't blame rs for mtx. Ya got to think of the big picture bra - I don't want a refund. I'm not at war with runescape. Mtx across many games is, the problem. How do u know what's fair and what's not until u get ripped off? Runescape was around 12yrs before mtx... other games start their life as an mtx... how do u know what they're selling is fair or not?
Skillet? Skill no.

So much moot.

That's what FTC and BBB are for in the USA. There are the FTC/BBB equivalence in most countries in the world too.

In fact, Federal Bill S.1629 referred any potential dispute of the Bill if it passed to FTC.

The fact that FTC is also mum on MTX and "abusive" games shows they are not going to do a thing. Still, FTC diplomatically answered the question by telling the public they would not deal with anything from the legal perspective with loot boxes, while the Digital Minister of UK bluntly refused any investigation citing
NO EVIDENCE
.

It doesn't matter what law changes, the same people are still employed with jagex. I won't play as long as HQ remains in the UK. IMO, The whole staff is corrupt. Best wishes to all.
Jagex declared WAR on April 2nd, 2012 by implementing MTX.

It's been confirmed that no mxt will be added to osrs at the bottom. Of course outside of bonds but bonds only contain membership and name change.

Jagex can say cosmetics is not MTX just like they moved most of their bond revenue from MTX to Membership last year.

There is no definition of MTX. Even Borderland 3 said they have pay-to-get cosmetics but no MTX. :D

OSRS players, enjoy your cosmetics that you can obtain with real money. And then even better... buy pizza from Vapiano get Purple Skin. Buon appetito! :D

The cosmetic poll failed so badly they had to cancel the poll. So it's not happening.

"It should be noted that ‘partnerships’ is not a ‘catch-all’ term –
there are many types of commercial partnership opportunities
, and as well the ones suggested in the poll, we’ve partnered in the past with the likes of Apple and Google, who have been pivotal in helping us bring Old School Mobile to you all in October last year. So, rather than Walmart or Pepsi, we would look to partner with companies who make sense to both us, yourselves and the game itself."

They don't add POH skins, teleport animationt this time doesn't mean there won't be many types of commercial partnership opportunities later.

Read that and enjoy! :)

Objection your homour, he didna answer like one of my questions..

We'll get to whatever he ramble on about without answering my questions.. but that's alright..

If runescape isn't e commerce because the term "e commerce" existed to explain actual commerce like eBay and ordering pizza etc. What is mtx if not commerce, as defined by it's definition "buying and selling" considering as a player we may only buy through mtx. Furthermore, why does jagex get to sell players rs banks? I mean, they sell an item that players pay gp for. Jagex sells players banks.

Jagex says "ill sell u all that guys gp uh ha".

Does that sound like commerce to u?
Skillet? Skill no.

The Congress made their decisions according to the LAWS they set, not what a RSOF user thinks. Please direct all your ramble to if you don't agree:
