I would like to address your argument, but I need you to define every word in it. I would not after all, want to assume anything. I don't think you see the point, because it's flying so far over your head. Let me re-use an analogy.
Imagine your president/prime minister/parliament has declared "tax evasion" illegal. You are an honest citizen, always paying your taxes. So one day you are walking down the street, eating an ice cream cone, and are arrested. The police officer tells you it is for "tax evasion", which the government has now decided means "walking down the street, eating an ice cream cone". Bullshit right?

Kale, you are asking the wrong question. You should be asking for their intentions, not the definition behind their description of rare.
As you know, rare is an adjective. Describing. Characterizing. Why do you assume the description includes future intent? Why do other players assume their description includes future intent?
A item's description doesn't logically include intent
. Are you expecting Jagex to insert future plans in a word called "rare" just because you and other players assumed wrong?
Here's a saying from generations past: When you
assume
you make an
ass
out of
u
&
me
.
Something described as discontinued today, but brought back tomorrow, can be described as recontinued. Both descriptions are correct! Things change, descriptions change. There is no problem! So again, you are asking the wrong question.

In this case rare is actually a noun...
Rare
noun
An item with the assumption Jagex never intends to release again. Alternate description includes eternally discontinued.
I had to read between the lines since you never defined it yourself. If correct, please refer to my previous post.

Do not change words if you quote or do not quote.
Your story is perfect!
We try to explain that you are the one that's changing the meaning of the word rare.
change: the government into your name, tax evasion with rare and the walking down the street with discontinued.
Jagex never changed the meaning of words but the players do at this moment.
A rare item does not mean that the item will not return.
Also yes I still wait for proof I have been asking this for a long time and you still assuming all of this.
I think that a judge would say guilty a long time ago!

He didn't need to define it. The definition was implied and understood by anyone that has played the game for 8+ years. Maybe that's the issue: noobs who don't know any better feel the need to argue and (try to) look smart.
He's not asking the wrong question. You all are obfuscating. Read the thread.

Or do read the news thread and maybe try to understand the word.
@Qwis7
Read the thread. Especially Ghosttalon's posts. I've read your posts and the news post relevant to bringing back turkeys since I'm guessing that's what prompted this.
The news doesn't answer OP's question, and your posts are full of crap.
