ok, so back to the issue at hand for this thread...it is for the Halloween event I assume? Shoot me down if I am wrong, because I have no clue where the event went to!!! No less what the heck is going on with this one! Is everyone getting something? Are we all trick or treating? What is this stuff ghosteweave? Is the event lasting more then a few days? Is there a city to go to for the event, like Fally? Not even Jag. is being clean on it. And when the heck did we have to start paying for a chance at events? Seems more questions then answers... anyone?

This is a Treasure Hunter promotion, not a holiday event. There has been no event started yet for Halloween, though hopefully we will seen one later this weekend or Monday (maybe).

Guys! There has been a Halloween Event stated since the start of October! I cannot believe the sheer number of people who have not heard about the Halloween Event.

The Halloween Event is Ghost Stories. You will search around runescape for ghosts and then do miniquests for them.... You get a new title, a new cosmetic outfit, and a new emote....


This and DotD are NOT the Halloween Event.


As for my Ghostweave, I bought a bond for keys (15) and I have used about 7 or 8 additonal keys from challenges and my 2 daily keys, I have gotten about 1440. In otherwords. I still need about 1060 to get the 2 outfits that I want since I already ave the old outfits. Come the Sixth-Age, the world will need the World Guardian.

I think you're missing the point here. My point remains Jagex has resold discontinued items like yelps hat, I think samid gloves and a few others. while Jagex don't always say if an item is returning or not they do imply that "this is your last time to get them because they will be gone forever" and if that doesn't mean discontinued idk what does. If Jagex was to sell all the old rares from th that is supposedly discontinued because you cant win them anymore do you think anyone would buy rare coins if they know those items that are supposedly gone forever would return?

btw idk if you saw the original news post but jagex had messed up which outfits were new and old in the "ghostweave returns post" yet if you check it now it states the correct outfits now tell me why should I believe Jagex when I clearly remember this promo being discontinued and me spending a lot of irl gp on this and then your telling me im mad for no reason so the only way to have proof nowadays is to screenshot it because as you clearly see Jagex edits their post.

Just wanted to make a post for anyone looking to get these outfits. Took about 70 spins to gain 900 ghostweave to make my first 1500 ghostweave set. About 75m in bonds. During the first ghostweave event i managed to get all the sets, now it looks like i'm only getting one after spending a ton on spins.

Apparently the RS3 Hallowe'en even will be released on Oct 30. It is not live yet.

I cannot believe the way this promotion is being run this time around. Too many useless stars on TH these days.
Day 3: 1 more lucky weave win of 20 out of 5 keys. I now have
110 ghostweave from 4 drops using 25 keys
over 3 days. Added to the 600 free we got on the first day of the promotion, I have 720 ghostweave toward a single costume requiring 1500 weave.

Nope, I'm not falling for the tease of "we'll give you a few weave but you have to spend a lot of money if you want to actually make anything with it". This has really gone too far in TH promotions.

Sell it outright if you must (Solomon's Store), but keep these unfair luring gambles off the TH. We should be able to expect a reasonable chance at a winning the special promotions if they are going to be offered TH. You've basically guaranteed nobody can hope to get the animation/title by redeeming keys earned in game. It can only be done by involving real money.
