In the 1st ghostweave promo it was like 10x easier to get an outfit! I got 5 out of 6 and without buying keys and if I remember you could even buy them from the ge. Now I struggle to get even 1 outfit!

It's also stupid how the old outfits are also given a high price tag. I feel bad for the players who didn't participate in the first run when getting 6 outfits was easier than getting 1 outfit now (if you don't include the 600 free gw). Feel free to take a look at my suggestions: 200m xp prestige

Okay, first off why did this get changed? Just curious, because now it seems like it's harder to get the costumes without buying keys, even with the free 600 Ghostweave.

Secondly, whilst the 600 Ghostweave is appreciated, wouldn't it have been better if this freebie wasn't given out? That way, people could buy/sell all the Ghostweave they want, without having to buy keys to have a chance of getting it. Janos Morgan of Asgarnia

I really hope that the Halloween event this year introduces a way to earn Ghostweave outside of treasure hunter. I understand some people have already invested over 300 keys to buy all complete sets, and introducing new gathering methods to acquire GW will cause some frustrations to those players who already have. However, at the current rate it does seem like an underwhelming promotion, considering I've only earned 60 GW (in addition to the free 600) using roughly 3 to 4 keys per day since the event began. If no skilling-related gathering method is added, I would at least hope that the rates of GW in TH are improved enough to earn about 75% of all sets using the free 2 or 3 keys per day.

Jagex, please ask the MTX team do a little more practical testing before releasing content like this.

This is just be venting my frustrations, so ignore this post if you want, or read it, I don't care.

It seems that Jagex removed the ghost fisherman outfit from my bank that I got last time this event came, and now they want me to pay 1000 ghostweave to get it back, that's not okay.
Maybe it's just me not remembering if I died wearing it or something, but if not Jagex should be ashamed.

As for this years event, and pretty much every other TH promo, the ghostweave is way too rare, and I of course only get stars and lamps through the span of the event, I understand that it's not supposed to be easy to get, but when all i'm getting is nothing but shooting stars for 3 days straight now, I start to wonder why I even bother trying.

So, as of early Monday GMT, I am at 660 GW -- the 600 free, plus three keys hitting 20 each. Out of 14 keys: my two per day, plus two randoms earned in the course of skilling since last Wednesday.

Pretty similar to King Robert's experience above, except it looks like he used a few more keys.

Not that I really care, but I won't have even one outfit by the time this is done.

Regardless, it's ironic that this very poorly executed promotion comes on the heels of the Monetisation announcement. It's very bad timing. The idea - great! The way it was gone about - terrible!

So why didn't you just "repeat the run" as it was last time? Why mess with it and make it harder to get an outfit of choice?

With limited access to keys (without a big fat wallet), no alternate method of obtaining ghostweave or outfits, and the horrible drop rate, this is one of the worst promotions TH has run in recent memory.

With a limited time holiday themed prize offering, I'd think you would make it easier to obtain, not more difficult.

Highly disappointed.

The last day of the promotion, and again, just 1 drop from 5 keys for 20 gw. That brings me to a total of 230 ghost weave from 40 keys. Even with the 600 free, I don't have enough to get even one of the outfits I wanted.
