This was a headcanon quickie after I skimmed through the now locked "Zarosian Empire: A Scrutiny" thread and remembered how I'm convinced the whole "Zaros and the elder gods" arc could end very badly if you wind up fully restoring him. Then again, in a different canon, it goes equally poorly if you weaken him. Maybe I'm just a pessimist like that.
Essentially this follows the same story arc as my previous headcanon, where you and Zaros have just destroyed the Elder's God's eggs on Gielinor, causing them all to converge on your position. In our previous tale, having crippled Zaros, he can't help, so good luck dealing with that on your own! But here, Zaros has managed to fully reform and has you wait outside while he negotiates with the elder gods, as you had agreed .
Essentially this follows the same story arc as my previous headcanon, where you and Zaros have just destroyed the Elder's God's eggs on Gielinor, causing them all to converge on your position. In our previous tale, having crippled Zaros, he can't help, so good luck dealing with that on your own! But here, Zaros has managed to fully reform and has you wait outside while he negotiates with the elder gods, as you had agreed .

Maybe I could've reworded the last bit to sound less villainy. I like to think even as he's doing something completely horrendous like this, he would talk to you in the same calm, reassuring neutral voice, which is what I really wanted to capture.
Write what you think will happen, if you have so much faith in Zaros. That's what this thread is all about. Like I said, helping him ascend or not, I see this ending really badly. Do you have an idea for the future that doesn't involve the end of the world? Because I'm clearly a pessimist. Headcanon Haven, where everything is made up and the points don't matter.

I really like how you rainbowed my comment. xD That actually made me smile so thanks for that.
Secondly, my honest theory is one of the Elder Gods, probably Jas (judging by the treatment we get from JasKra opposed to the other Kra) will see why the mortals matter, and side with/support Zaros. Either that, or Zaros ends up sacrificing himself to somehow prevent the Elder Gods from needing to omnomnomnom on Gielinor. A
