Getting annoyed, Iestin retreated for once, and made his way to the top of a large boulder. With amazing speed and accuracy, Leif shot several crossbow bolts his way, but Iestin stopped them with a dagger he had hidden in his armour.
“You are indeed a worthy enemy, but let us see how much longer you can hold!” said Iestin, now chanting some things Leif could not hear. A large spark appeared, and Leif saw the crystal sword being transformed into two spears (the concealment crystals cannot hide the transformation of crystal).
Then Iestin jumped from the rock, and prepared to attack Leif from above. Leif did not move from his place, but instead shot endless bolts from his crossbow at Iestin. All of these shots Iestin, although with difficulty, blocked, and came down upon Leif. Although taken aback, Leif managed with his main sword, and was able to withhold the attacks of both of Iestin’s spears.
Realizing that he could be taking this advantage to use both his swords, Iestin deduced that Leif was incredibly weakened at this point, and dragged on the fight. “Enough of this!” cried Leif, now attacking at a very high speed that surprised Iestin, and making a deadly cut across Iestin’* left shoulder, which made him drop his left spear, and cry out in pain.
However, breathing heavily, Leif collapsed on his own knee from exhaustion, dropping his weapon. Iestin, with his hand clasped on his bleeding shoulder moved back to rest upon a rock and said, “Alas, so this is how it must end. No tricks or surprises or hidden weapons. Indeed, I applaud you for dealing me this fatal blow. But like all men, you must eventually tire, and this will prove your downfall.”
Now getting up, he slowly moved towards Leif, while reverting his weapon back to his sword of choice. Then, standing over Leif, who made no attempt to escape, he raised his sword.
