While it is a waste of a sacrifice, lucien was too dangerous to be left alive and Wahi and Azzy knew of the threat he posed because we tell them. Azzy is pretty pragmatic in that it's easier for him to take down Lucien after the ritual has been performed when he has been returned to full strength. Remember that Azzy has missed a large number of rituals.

You could even suggest that at the time of death Lucien had actually ascended but was less powerful than the combined Dragonkin due to the fact that no energy is given out when he dies.

1) Lucien really isn't a threat......to the Mahjarrat. Lucien held restraint against his own kind unless backed into a corner. The only people he was a threat to were Saradominists.

2) I don't think Lucien could ascend honestly. Maybe in....2000 years or so, but no time soon. Zamorak needed a God to ascend, so I doubt the stone and staff alone cut it.

3) You make a fair point with Azzanadra missing a lot of rituals, except he was using Zaros' energy to take him down, not his own. Heck, if he had done it before Lucien was rejuvinated, he might have been able to one shot him.

And I am pretty sure Lucien is not the best mahjarrat for fighting others personally... he seems more like a mix between a necromancer and a summoner
NO
I do not ship ZamorakxZaros.
I follow them. And Marimbo, the best t5 god.

I had a thought for a while about the Saradominists and people in Teragard.

Sliske (after the race for the Stone): "Saradomin will be forced to return to Teragard and bring their twisted science into the conflict, changing the face of the war, quite literally in some cases."

It's clear from this that they have machines to use. Another thing to note is that on Gielinor the Imcando dwarves are the best smithies and are aligned to Saradomin. This may mean even here his forces will be good with technology, and one thing I would like to ask is...

Does Saradomin have robots?

You forgot, he kind of does. Do you remember that "Saradominist colossus" which spawned in World Event 1 occasionally? Idk why they aren't anymore by Saradomin and only showed up ever during the event.

Ah yes. I was just thinking this may be part of the reason why Zamorak cursed the dwarves; he wanted machines as well. Also Zaros mentioned technological advancement from his empire, and Lady Trahaearn is basically Samus Aran. That and the golems and weapons used in BatB.

Welcome to MechaScape. :D
