if you've read the rs books, you know jerrod doesn't have much business fighting alongside mahjarrat either
in lotr, it was briefly considered to send glorfindel (a powerful, ancient elf who came back from death and was given more power in the process much like gandalf) along with the fellowship of the ring but they decided not to because it wasn't about how strong the fellowship was, it was about being sneaky
so instead he sends merry and pippin
there's a possibility you misunderstand part of what I said. I'm saying that because he was weaker and slower (than a normal strongish human) he couldnt have canonically lasted more than a second against a single mahjarrat, let alone two at once

edit: also... thanks for setting up a situation in which I can call total bs on most of the fights in rotm. I've had that in my mind for nearly two years
edit2: if you've read the rs novels, tiffy will seem even weaker than he quite probably is ingame. Not weak or even average for an old man though, he's actually pretty strong for his age Carn
